The majority of the survey websites I have signed up for, straight away ask for your postcode and/or address, I was wondering is it safe?? I understand when surveys ask for your postcode for researching methods. Because I am a bit scared and I am new to this.

I've never had a problem. Have to say, I've had hardly any spam emails from it too, just the emails from the sites themselves notifying you of a survey.

I suppose the he survey sites do hold quite a lot of info about you so were they to be hacked someone could get your address, email, date of birth etc.

The survey sites themselves ask for your details so that they can pay you your incentives, and to have your demographics to match you with surveys. I have never had a problem with that. But, when I am doing a survey through a 3rd party and they start asking for personal details that I don't think that they need, I will exit the survey. No survey needs your email, phone number, full name and home address unless they are sending you a product to test.

I give my personal information to everyone.. I also own a trademark with my address on it. So far I've just had some spam post, no other issues.

I don't give out passwords or any answers to questions that might be related to my secret question, like 'first pets name' or whatever. Not that they ever really come up tbh. But better safe than sorry.

I have always given out details, but as mentioned, if any questions seem too detailed or personal, then I stop the survey.

I was thinking exactly this. I’ve given my personal details out more in the last 24 hours than I think I have in my life. Reassuring to know that nobody appears to have had any issues. Thankyou
