Secretgirlwants Money Earning Diary

I am currently unemployed, but due to personal health concerns, I am looking for a part time job. I will be attending university in september, so looking for part time work, either offline or online.

At the moment I am looking to earn money through my lifestyle blog, proof reading, researcher work online and hopefully receiving products at home to review and enjoy.

So far I have done the following:

contacted 63336 about positions

emailed proofreadmyenglish about work

signed up for bzzagent and filled in all questionnaires available to me

registered for a tesco clubcard (which you need in order to apply for the tesco home panel), and applied for and completed the test for Tesco Home Panel

signed up for Appen Butler Hill- however the site is quite confusing about what positions are available

I want to be earning between £400-500 per month, and I can work full time.

Am interested to hear how you get on with proofreadmyenglish

that has the potential to be quite a money spinner depending on how it works out

Sent my test and application form back to 63336, and filled in my bzzagent surveys.

Going to research Opinion World, Quickthoughts and Field Agent.

Looks like 63336 won't be a money earner for me. For some reason I have failed, but I really don't understand why...

Never mind.

Been retested, and have been offered the 15 hour contract I wanted from 63336. I have been trying to work out the hours I want to do, and have decided to do 26 hours a week, and will wait and see how much I earn from doing that, as it is dependent on the amount of questions.

My goals are:

Buy domain, and pay to host
Pay for new blog design
Buy Ipad Mini
Get a hair cut (haven't had one in almost a year)
Pay for wedding dress
Save for wedding things- decorations, invites, deposits, sweets, bouquets
Buy Macbook Pro with apple care insurance

I think these are definitely enough goals to be going on with.

This morning I have received a further email from 63336 to fill out a lot of things, which will do today.

Checked Bzzagent again, but for the last two days that I have logged on there has been no surveys, and my bzzscore is dropping; I've linked my twitter, facebook and Tesco clubcard, but not sure what else I can do. Anyone have any further advice on this? I thought there would be surveys to do every day, and have filled out all that was given to me.

I'm also wondering what to do about my tax, as in September I will be a student again, so not sure about tax issues.

I am pretty sure that the fact you may or may not be a student is irrelevant.

I know you will pay less tax but I think you still need to give HMRC to register as self employed

Best to ring them and get it right then do nothing and get it wrong

Well as a student you don't pay tax, so it will effect it for half of the year, but will ring on monday to find out what they suggest.

Having had a look at the hours I can do, and the money I want to earn, I have a new target:

£500 a month
4 products a month from Bzzagent to review on my blog

£500 is EASILY achievable (especially with 63336)

I try not to think of the 'big' number and just aim for £30/£40 a day (£900-£1200 a month) and let it all add up slowly

So thanks to some confusion with my email account, I have only now found my email, with my list of things to do from 63336. I've sent it off, and waiting for a response stating the best time to have my walkthrough of the system, and beginners stuff.

No surveys to answer on Bzzagent still.

Still thinking about what I want to do with the money when I do start earning- but that is the fun part :)

So finally done my induction, so will be starting to answer questions shortly, my 25-30 before my review. It is nerve wracking as there are a lot of small rules to remember whilst doing it, but I am excited to start earning :)
