Does anyone have a shopify dropship/ e- commerce website?
I was actually looking at using shopify last week for an idea I’ve got. What package were you thinking of using on them?

I was actually looking at the website exchange where you can buy a developed site. They range from the bare bones to one that has been trading for a while. You can view the revenue, traffic ect for each site.

I was thinking about doing it this way as I'm not technically minded and it will probably take me forever to create my own.

So you would buy a site that's already made and set up (well a shop) and then buy a domain elsewhere and point it towards your shop?

I think thats how it works. I havent really read into in-depth but that's the concept. If it's registered in another country ect they can change all that relating to the domain name and currency etc.

What are you planning on selling through the store then?

My concern with Shopify (and it's been my same experience with WooCommerce to be fair) is that as soon as you want some sort of added functionality (which doesn't have to be THAT extreme) then it's time to pony up some extra cash

All these services seem to lure you in with offering the bare minimum and then it's time to depart with £££ unless you want to learn to code CSS etc yourself

I know all the money is a 'business expense' anyway so we get that back when we do our tax returns but it just frustrates me that you can't just pay a lump sum and have EVERYTHING tweak and widget included!

But then I suppose you are paying them in the first place because we don't have the technical knowledge of building our own web store with database inventory system that can handle payments!

Not sure what the product will be. Having a look on the exchange there are all sorts.

Not fussed more concerned about the marketing, traffic and revenue. Willing to pay a bit more for something established.

Do you have a link to this website exchange? Buying developed sites is something I've been interested in but they were all ridiclously expensive. Trying to find something a bit more reasonable.
