Smartphone apps?

Can anyone tell me if the smartphone apps such as field agent etc require phone signal to receive tasks?

I live in a very remote location and there is no mobile signal for 20 miles so my phone I just use my iPhone at home for apps and wifi. Once I head nearer to civilisation for shopping, appointments etc I switch my phone signal on so in theory the apps should work then. Can I still access them at home via wifi to look for tasks before I head out?

I am in a similar situation [member=3586]CBellows[/member] as mobile recption at home is poor (not as bad as yours mind!) but I can confirm all the iPhone based task apps will download tasks on wifi. I often wait until I get home to upload the results via wifi once the job is done too.

Is field agent worth signing up for? I've stumbled across it only this morning and am thinking of giving it a go.

It's well worth signing up to all the money making apps in Jon's toolkit here: http://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/ as tasks will appear in different apps and locations at different times.

I use and love field agent but then again I live right next to a town centre and live in the middle of a city so often have tasks available. If you're a bit more remote you might not get as much on there but worth a shot!

It's made by the same company and hopefully because you are near a city centre you should be able to earn lots from it

New to the forum. I have started using an app called App Jobber which i have found to be quite good. The tasks redemption rate varies, but at the moment they have quite a few. Not sure if anyone else is using them?

The Voxpopme app is actually quite good, you basically have to video record yourself answering a question about a product or brand etc.

Nerve racking at first wondering who is on the other end watching me but who cares when you can earn 25p+ per vid and there may be a couple daily
