[member=920]katykicker[/member] Whats the fees etc selling vouchers with zeek? Always thought about selling amazon vouchers on there but never get round to doing it, also thanks for the code again :)

Just came on here to post about Zeek and saw your question.

I believe the selling fees are 7% OR £3 minimum fee, which sounds like quite a lot if you have just a £10 giftcard to sell.

I saw this question in the FAQ's section:

"Why do I have to pay £1 when I have enough credit to cover my purchase?"

Their answer is:

'Even if you have enough credit to cover the cost of your voucher we must charge you £1 in order for your purchase to be processed.
For security reason all purchases must go through the payment processor
.'

It is not clear (to me) if this charge is temporary or is added to the giftcard total. As the giftcards I have looked at have been for just £1 less, this charge would obliterate any discount at all.

Can someone please clarify the situation.

Thanks

Hello [member=4984]Jst2206[/member]

I just sold a £20 voucher and I received £18 (Zeek credit) :)

I previously believed the standard fee was £3, I think you get more money if you choose to take Zeek Credit, which I'll be putting towards a Sainsburys gift card. It takes a few days for the Zeek credit to arrive after your gift card sells.

This is how it works:

£10 gift card is there for £9. You have a £5 credit. This reduces the card to £4. You'll pay £4 on your card and be above the £1 minimum.

£10 gift card is there for £9. You have a £10 credit. They will use £8 of your credit and charge your card £1.

What they are saying is even if your credit is the same or higher than the value of what you are buying they'll use your credit, apart from £1, which they'll take from your card. Hope this helps [member=4097]Knopfler[/member] ? x

Wish I knew about this a few months ago - I had a couple of gift cards that expired recently because they were for places I never went! Will definitely be looking into this for saving money on shopping I have to do anyway. Seems like a great way to get money off your regular shops.

Honestly I can't stress enough how much money this has saved me in the last 18 months or so. With referral earnings and the discounts they offer, combined with cashback/student discounts, I've saved thousands, and treated myself and my family to some lovely gifts... this Christmas was about 50% funded by these guys ;D

I have an Amazon gift voucher code I want to sell but I am worried about the security side of it. What's my guarantee it wont be used up by someone before I get any payment for it... Has anyone done that (sell an Amazon code) with Zeek?

In the last month I've sold Amazon voucher, Entertainer Gift card and Next gift card. I sold some the last two months too. I've had no problems at all. What happens is they take the payment from the person as they give them the voucher code. So the money side is done, however, it can take up to 7-10 days for your payment to arrive. Mine have arrived.

It does take close to what they say. Well done you! I've got another big amazon due next month so I might do the same with it - get myself some cash.
