I was quite happily working through my surveys (one at a time) when I clicked to do the next and got this friendly message:

Sorry, you have been blocked

This website is using a security service to protect itself from online attacks.
You performed an action that triggered the service and blocked your request.

Now it's happening on every survey that I do. My laptop is squeaky clean, and I have scanned it as a precaution for antivirus and antispy/malware. Nothing is showing up.

If I access the surveys from my tablet, they go through no problem, so I'm not sure where the problem lies. Any suggestions? Other than not to bother with surveys ;)

You might be sharing your connection with someone who has something in their laptop/pc. Alternatively, you could have some gray area addon that is not necessarily bad but not good either and the website sees it as dangerous. If it happens on the certain websites, it might be their servers having an issue!

No, I'm not sharing the connection with anyone, no I don't have any grey add ons and haven't added anything lately. I didn't do anything or go anywhere between one survey working and the next not.

Some sites seem ok, but not others. SSI and Cint seem to be the problem mainly, so maybe it is a problem their end with one of their servers then, which would make sense.

Yes this would be the problem especially if they share the server. Hope it will be resolved soon!

Whatever was wrong seems to have righted itself now, thank goodness. From my usual bombardment with dozens of new surveys per hour, throughout the day yesterday it dwindled to virtually none.
Still very few waiting for me this morning, but no more blocked messages.
Went out for a walk this afternoon and got back to a bulging surveys folder! So I guess it was a problem at their end.
Now to sort out the good from the bad and ugly lol.

I was just abruptly kicked out of Opinion Outpost with the message "your membership has been terminated due to violation of terms and conditions ". I literally just completed a survey, reached cash out and went to claim and boom! Out you go! And now I get that message when I try to log in. Not impressed!

Oh blimey [member=3699]Mountainways[/member] that isn't good!
I'm still getting the odd 'you've been blocked' on surveys, but then I do the same survey later and all is well. It is very strange.
Is there a way of e-mailing them to see if they can sort it out for you?
