Yep lots.

I've been putting acoustic issues where the audio is crap or the audio sample has been cut and then either what I think the transcription is or unintelligible if it's gibberish or any words are cut off.

Only done 1300 in the past 15 days and I am currently answering questions on the mighty shed to avoid having to work on it, worst transcription one I've had so far.

Glad it's not just me then. Oh you've had it for 15 days? This is only my third day. Nearly at 1,000. 2,000 would be nicer though ;)

It's a bit of a trudge, yes. As soon as I see a paragraph I just let the task run out and on to thr next one :D

Probably why I've only done 350 in 3 days lol.

I've had variants of that Australian job for the past month. I reported one tranche early on as clearly having been done by software rather than a person. They ALL seem to have vanished in favour of human transcriptions where folk can't use their common sense as to what the word is *likely* to be in the context of a customer service call...

I’ve just had an email about a Dialogue Collection job for British native speakers? It says I will have to make phone calls. But it doesn’t say how much the pay is?

Yes I got it, too. I think it was £2 per call last time but might be wrong. It's extremely easy but kind of awkward. But because of that there's usually loads of them you can do.

Oh great, thanks.

I have just been offered a job for Dialogue Collection (for English speakers). I have had to answer a couple of questions, like, where I live, my accent, etc and they are saying that they will get back to me on Monday about it. The work involves having conversations with another speaker and to follow a script. Neevo has said that the calls should take about 4 to 5 minutes each. I have no more instructions until Monday about this. However, can somebody tell me if I have to pay for these calls myself (I have not been given a rate of pay yet either)? Thank you.

@Sophiasky
If it's the same as last time then you enter a queue and Neevo call you.
Rate of pay again if same as last time started at $2 each but doubled to $4 because it was just before Crimbo and Neevo loves us.
Or nobody was doing them.
One of the two.

Looking forward to doing these. Going to be the closest I get to stepping on a stage for a year or more, I think. Last time I ended up with serious double bubble, doing the calls, typing them up, checking them, AND doing the segmentation.

I’ve been invited to a Scripted Monologue Data Collection task today. It’s only $0.06 per tasks and there’s only 45 tasks to complete. I’m just doing it because it’s easy and hopefully builds my relationship with them as others have mentioned in this thread about them “getting to know you” :)

Edit: Looks like the Australian correction task is over too, keep getting "No more tasks available". Managed to do 1470 of them though.

I certainly admire your dedication. I'm pulling teeth after about 200.

Thanks. I’m just trying to make as much as I can. Was hoping for more but I’ve got that phone call task tomorrow so hopefully that will be a bit more. I keep refreshing the Australian one and then it lets you do a few more and then says no more again, think that normally means it’s coming to an end.

I've still got the Australian corrections. Absolutely horrendous standard of transcription. I've just done a hundred, and clicked "yes" for one. How are these people passing the test, or are they just simply not arsed once they're on the paid job?

I wasn't talking about anyone. I still have the Australian transcription correction job (which you said you didn't have any longer), and I happened to mention that the standard of the transcripts was absolutely awful. Lots of American English spellings too, so highly unlikely to have come from anyone on this board.

I certainly wasn't getting at you.

No sorry I wasn’t implying that you were. I meant when you said how do they pass the test? I’m confused haha

There's always a competency test for Neevo jobs. I have no idea how they're passing that if the general standard of their work is then so poor.
