Started my first blog!

Hi guys,

So I decided to buy a domain and set up a blog. Im still learning but have put up some posts.

If you guy could check it out and let me know where I have gone wrong or if you have any tips it would be great. Also I havent yet put any google adsense on yet.

Don't worry about adsense right now, if you have barely started you won't be missing out on any cash right now

It looks great. Nice and easy to read and good content. You're doing really well. I've had a blog for over a year and I'm still floundering in the dark most of the time - I blame it on my age! I have to keep asking my pet teenagers to help me out

Congratulations on joining the blogosphere - I agree with the others, you're looking good!

One small niggle - none of your social media icons at the top of the page work. You either need to get those linked to your various profiles or remove them because obviously it's not so good to keep trying to click on a logo to follow you and nothing happens!

If you're not on Social Media yet I recommend registering on every single platform that you can think of - even if you don't plan to be active on them yet (or ever), because if nothing else you want to lock in your name.

It's really annoying, I had(have) a link somewhere to a site that if you typed in the name you wanted to be known by, it would go through and check all the different social media sites and tell you if it was available...but can I find it? Gah!

Maybe someone else knows of it or a similar tool. I'll keep looking as it made things so much easier to register.

Just a question I have seen some people blog who have a box where people get a notification when a new post is posted, Does anyone know how I can get this?

Well, I don't know if I've gone wrong or not...

I bought a domain name from Vidahost, then bought hosting from TSOHost.
I probably could have done it cheaper as a package :/
And TSOHost haven't confirmed my account yet because my work computer is set to Finland and I've put UK as my location, so it's checking it all for me... grr

Let's see what happens.
Should have asked more questions and done more research really before paying. But that's the problem with working at a call centre and doing things in between calls (or during calls). Silly me! Grr

The only thing I would personally do is to put a background in to give the overall look more colour. Other than that, it's looks spot on
