Ah, I'm not worried about the flights. Haha, she says :queen81 said:stellajose said:Oh, really? The Holiday Village in Sharm el Sheikh. Where did you go?queen81 said:Ahhhh Jenny - I love your positive attitude. So sorry about your Mam.
Stellajose - no more pressing pause now eh, you need the cash for ya holiday
Where in Egypt? I went last year. Wasn't keen - won't go back.
We're going to Turkey in a few weeks.
We lived in Spain so keen to try new places. I absolutely adored Hawaii though - can't imagine anywhere ever topping there.
Went to tirana aqua park in sharm. Was an assault (by a local) on a 13 year old girl on the complex during our stay. You just can't leave the complex unless you're in a taxi - I like to be able to potter about. Other things I wasn't keen on but I'll not go on. Oh, apart from the flight. 6 hours on the way back in a cramped plane. Not good.
I managed going to Hawaii (21 hours each way) with a 10 month old and a 2 year old. I've bought the kids a tablet to
That's awful about the girl getting attacked! Was she alone? I thought the Egyptians were supposed to be lovely? Places like this are a shock. I went to Morroco on a trip and would never take my children there. It was a pleasant trip, nice to see a bit of the culture, but scary that people live like this all over the world.
I know what you mean, I get cabin fever staying in one place. Even Butlins for the weekend does me - I always want to drive off to neighbouring towns for a wander, DH is happy to stay on site the whole time. I'm on the HV group on Facebook and people talk about walking round the town. If we can't I will be most displeased. Plenty of trips being booked as well.
