Stupid question about football vs horses

I have been watching the videos on profit accumulator (I am on the betfred £30 free bet) on the videos they only refer to football, in the profit accumulator there are lots of odds matches relating to horse racing. Should I use these or do I for some reason need to wait for the football match? Sorry to be so thick but its important to get it right but I also want to get it done lol THanks

You can bet on horses or football, entirely up to you

This is me today! Did a qualifying bet on a horse for the free Betfred bet and was panicking all over the place! It worked out well although I noticed the odds were up, down and all over the place in the 10 mins before the race which was a bit hair raising.

Oh poo I never thought about the odds changing after you made the bet, is that something you can fall foul of or do the odd stay at what you have placed your bet at? I am actually astonished at how completely thick I am regarding all of this.

Sorry I meant I didn’t place the bet until 10 mins before the race. I was cursing my slow laptop as the odds were changing fast and Betfair was taking ages to load!
I’m learning as I go along too as I’ve never done anything like this before! Made over £40 now since last night though!

The odds tend to change less quickly with football unless it’s right before or during the game hence we are finding it’s easier when we are not familiar with all the terms
To get the right exact selection - which of course is vital!

odds will have been jumping around all over the place because I assume you were looking at a race that was close to happening.

Yes if the exchange odds move by 0.1 put THAT number into the calculator to get the correct amount to lay

Thank you. Yes, it was just before the race and every time I calculated, then re-calculated the odds would jump about on the exchange.

I'm struggling with this first bet because the PA videos aren't loading in properly so its the most patchy information. I want to get cracking with this but I'm feeling abit stupid and confused right now. I'm looking to place a bet on a horse, as far as I can understand I have to place £5 to unlock the free bet on coral but from what ive watched on step by step videos on youtube (as PA is about use for nothing at the moment for me) - is that it can be an amount less than £5 to unlock the free bet with betfair?

I live in a really rural area and the broadband is slower in bad weather or if there's updates going on with other devices in the household etc. I think tomorrow will be best to try watching them again and maybe I wont feel so utterly confused.

Also, got someone messaging me saying PA is basically a rip off and to go with them instead. From what I can gather the many members on here use PA with success?
