10 years ago I was doing surveys for 50p / £1 and thought I was rocking it making £10 a month!
I was also answering text message questions for ChaCha for 3p a time

No I do as little manual work as possible online and earn BY FAR the bulk of my online money via a passive income which was my dream 10 year ago when I Was slugging it out earning naff all for a lot of manual work

success is different for different people.

For me 'success' is just getting page views on my blog. I don't translate that into cash very well but thats not my (immediate) goal.

That’s true reverend - success for me would be to get a certain debt cleared x

Hi all. Well, I made some unexpected money very quickly. eBay listing! I've made £140 by selling someone's item within 24 hours yesterday. Only thing is, it's using my eBay account, and my PayPal, which is fine, but I think he wants me to sell more items. The only thing here is the tax. If this is going to be a steady income, I will be a trader. So I will need to do my tax return etc (all new to me). I get 5% commission on everything I sell. But, will the tax man assume I'm keeping all the profit from the sale? Or will I be able to prove what I make (My 5% commission) via my PayPal. These are second-hand farm items. I sold a mower for him.

You make 5% after eBay fees and postage fees :eek::eek:

Do you have to do the packaging as well??!?!?

Ha ha no. The fees are paid by the seller. The Money goes through me, so I keep my earnings, and the money for the fees, then send him the rest. I made a weeks wage in 24 hours!
