Did anyone buy The Sun today who won't be using the codes? If so can I be cheeky and have one? Only just realised it started today and I don't buy The Sun normally.

Read online today about numerous families who went on these Sun Holidays and were back home in under 12 hours due to how bad the accommodation/general setup was!

The sun holidays can be a bit hit and miss. I've known peeps who have had a great time and go back year after year, and others who get damp, cold accommodation on dates and in places that they didn't want. Down to the luck of the draw, I suppose. My Bro bags one at Camber Sands most years and so far it has always been good.

Thanks, gonna give it a miss as I now see that it would cost at LEAST £40 rather than the £10 each for me and my son that I thought. Annoying!

I’ve had good and bad sun breaks...
Unless you upgrade to silver / gold your onl6 going to get the basic caravan, generall6 the older vans with only gas fire for heating

Bedding... generally lot cheaper to take your own

Service charge... adds up

...
We did a break to Blackpool, by the time service charge, bedding, dog, (March pee- Easter) £145 that was without entertainment passes...the caravan leaked in, it was horrible

Good break... I’d been to the site before, I ended up on. S7n break m/f before took a weeks hol, the site upgraded me to posher caravan...

£145 for the most basic holiday, is way way above what I imagined (and others I'm sure) when you see the initial "£9.50 Holidays!" stuff about it.. annoying!

it's almost as if they just want people to buy their newspaper who wouldn't normally lol
