Hiya all!
I used to do Bubblews which helped pay for Christmas before the bubble burst (excuse the pun). I am know doing surveys, overtime and milk the blog to help me pay for a big birthday present for one of my kids . I am trying to earn £1000 by March! I know , I know! It's a lot of money and not a lot of time.

It's a big birthday and we are getting them a scooter for it - very scary for a mum to watch but we are very rural and it will help them a lot with school/ work/ social life.

I am a member of The Orchard too which helps with the food bills too. I have only started surveying recently and have been on milk the blog a few weeks too . I am hoping I can earn at least £100 towards the scooter through online earning but every bit helps !

I hope you all enjoy my diary - even if only to laugh at my complete amateur attempts at online earning !

Edigital which is the eMysteryShopper website is really good. It is Mystery Shopping done at home and online. Just giving your feedback on websites, apps and mobile sites and very easy to do. That will boost your earnings quickly. :)

Wow thanks guys ! That is brilliant and I will definitely give it a try ! I only do about an hour when I get home and an hour whilst the kids do their homework so don't have loads of time for surveys etc but that sounds great!

I received a Ocado voucher in a magazine from the library the other day for 25% off a £40+ shop and decided to have a browse to see the prices. It was quite good but as I yellow sticker shop I thought I would save it until I can't get to my normal shop. Today they have sent me an E-voucher for £10 off a shop.

Unfortunately I don't think I can use both together so they will have to try harder to tempt me ! Handy for any week when I don't want to shop on a Sunday as it also has free midweek delivery when I am home from work. It's no good for this week but it is good to have options eh!

It's been a quiet day earnings wise as I haven't been sent any surveys at all. Mind you I suppose weekends are more about money saving than money earning . I did tilly-tidy £7 into the savings account though- it all helps. ;)

Weekends are usually very quiet survey wise.
I just use the opportunity to catch up elsewhere and saving money is always very helpful. :)

Well I have a few good sites now but it takes awhile to find what suits you best. Most of the ones I earn from I have been a member for a long while so I find I can redeem on a regular basis.
It is always slow to start off then it gradually picks up as you start hitting payout everywhere. :)

Yes I am right at the start of my survey and online earnings journey - of course it will probably get a lot better and faster after the birthday I am trying to earn for lol! I am getting to know which sites are worth doing and hopefully will be able to carry on after and save money for holidays !

Don't worry too much about what other people are earning. Like you said you are at the start.

I earn around £20-£30 a day online working for leapforce and doing other bits and bobs

If you stay on this site and follow what others are doing nothing is stopping you doing that as well

Lol - Thanks Jon , although I don't earn that much a day in my "real life" job so that would be a shocker ! Thanks for the encouragement - from small beginnings etc!

So far today I have earned a sign-up bonus of £3 for joining PanelBase but then screened out of the first three surveys they sent me which is typical! We saw a scooter on Gumtree for £500 which my kid loved , checked out the insurance , looked at how to collect it and phoned up to discover he had sold it half an hour before. Nearly saved myself a good few hundred pounds then ! It clearly wasn't meant to be but is pretty gutting anyway.
I have shopping later - halfway through the FA cup match - so hopefully I can save some money there today. Last week I managed to just spend £43 including packed lunches so something similar would be good.
I am going to join what users and the online mystery shopping site later and then hopefully come tomorrow the tasks will come rolling in. I also posted a few more things on Find It For Less last night so I am relying on other people shopping too lol!
Apart from that , quite a chilled day today !

Mrs Hippy.
Your target is so do-able.
This site has been invaluable in helping me keep motivated. It took me approx 3 months of daily researching leads and ideas to find something that suited me. I posted plenty of messages on this site moaning about how I can't find anything, and lots of times the kind members replied "keep your chin up."
Genuinely would of given up if it wasn't for the kindness.

She means me.
;) ;D

I earn little bits here and there, whether it's from 63336 or WUD and eDig - my online income seems to come in dribs and drabs. I did say to myself I was going to fill in a spreadsheet to keep track this year, but I also said I was going to do my tax return nice and early. Neither has been attempted hahaha.

Aw ! Thank you guys for the kind words ! I think I am just panicking because the target seems so high and the date so close at the moment . I have only redeemed £5 from MySurvey so far so hopefully once I can redeem on some other sites , I will start believing it is possible!
After screening out of all the Panelbase surveys , I decided to take a break and cut all the dead leaves off my strawberries whilst my husband moved the pond! This has cheered me up as I now have about 50 runners to dig up this week for friends and neighbours .
I didn't do as well as I had hoped on the shopping -£53 for the week, but that includes £2.50 on coffee beans and about £8 on stocking up on loads of jars of cooking sauces whilst they were all half price . I got lots of yellow sticker cookies, cakes and bread for the packed lunches though. I did well on veg , some cheap fish for a pie in the week and 4 pork chops for 40p !
Now I had better go and update the moneysaving thread on the half price sauces !
Thanks again guys! ;D :-*

I think the reality is you are not going to be able to do this with just surveys that pay pounds

No probably true - I am hoping I can pay a deposit for the scooter by paypal and both husband and I are doing overtime, saving all change and tilly-tidying all the odd bits in the bank into the savings .

Of course we are being frugal and saving normally too but tbh if I can just pay the deposit by paypal it will make it so much easier for us .

We are definitely at the every little helps stage and as I am only part-time and home anyway , anything I can earn is a bonus! ;D

Split your target down into days. So if ya need to earn 200 quid in 20 days, then a tenner a day. If you go over that and earn 12 one day, then don't cut back to 8 quid the following day, keep it at a tenner and anything else is a bonus. I know this sounds silly, but daily targets to me are far more achievable than saying "I need to earn a grand in 3 months".
