You could probably pick up an iPad 2 or 3 for under £100 now

I have a Hudl 2. Its perfect to watch youtube on! I'm really happy with mine. It has developed a fault but Tesco are being helpful. (Its going back to be repaired this week and they said if they can't fix it within 7 days I'll get a new one)

I've just looked at the Hudl and that looks really good, I will go with your recommendations.

I have a Hudl 2 as well. [emoji4].
It is really good and fast enough too as well as getting allot spec wise for the price.

How did the Hudl turn out? I've always wondered what cheaper tablets (compared to Apple products) are like! :)

Brilliant!
Good spec and does everything I want. :)
I highly recommend it if you want a good Android tablet that runs fast enough.

I bought a Hudl but unfortunately the screen does not work any more. Even more unfortunately, Tesco has stopped making the Hudl with no plans to release more in the future! :( I'm quite surprised really as it was obviously a good seller. Anyway, I'm thinking of going for the basic Amazon Fire. It's got good reviews for £49.99. Can't beat that if only going for basic spec to watch videos/books etc.

PS: Realise this is an old post but as someone commented on it, thought I would put my two pennyworth :-/ Would love to hear from anyone who has an Amazon Fire to see if it is as good as the reviews I've read.......

[member=1169]bordercolliefan[/member] - I have a fire for when I go away, think it was on offer at 39.99. Have to say its been brilliant. You're a bit restricted on apps but if you just want to 'potter' on Facebook, read and watch the odd film, it's great. Was surprised how good it was watching a film. I think if I was going to use it a lot I'd like a bigger screen and you have to factor in that I'm not bothered about HD or anything but for the price, can't beat it.

Thank you [member=3496]jackieblack[/member]
I haven't actually had to buy one yet as I managed to somehow fix my tablet. I think it's only a temporary fix tho :( I will definitely buy a Kindle Fire when I next get one as it's so cheap for what they are and most people think they are really good for just "pottering" like you say.

I love my Kindle Fire. Had it about 2.5 years and not yet read 1 ebook on it  - too distracting!
