Hi there,

My name is Neil and I have read a few threads and so far this looks like it might be a good place to come for help? I have tried the usual survey sites etc and just cant do them anymore because they are so repetitive and obviously DONT make any money worth singing about. I am currently looking for a new job as I lost my career in the oil industry.
All I want to say is hello to everyone and kind of pray for some feedback or help on here to advise me on how or where to make some money PLEASE

Thanks to all who/IF you have read this and reply to me

Hi @Neil Robertson

You've come to the right place

I would say a good starting point for you would be the beginners guide to earning online toolkit
https://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/

You can earn £1500+ a month from that alone without any trouble so hopefully that will get you off to a good start :)

Hi all! I've read so much of this blog and enjoyed it very much, so thought I'd sign up and add my thruppence. I have been paying attention to my finances for about 6 weeks now and am very pleased with the result, both in budgeting/economising and actual income generation. Onwards and upwards! :)

Hi all,

Have been lurking for a few weeks, I'll be heading off on maternity towards the end of the year so starting to think about pulling in whatever extra cash I can! I used to do surveys etc back in my student days quite a few years ago, so not completely new to doing this type of thing. But I'm now totally into MB since I recently forced myself to sit down and understand it all :)

Hey @Samp Pants

Great to have you on here and posting instead of lurking ;)

I think everyone started out on surveys, I remember feeling I had done really well if I hit £10 a month from them at the very very start!!

Hi Jon. I've actually made quite a bit :) I'm out of my overdraft and that is a win!

But this large amount made is unsustainable as I work in education and have had the summer vacation to play around with matched betting etc.. When I go back to work I'll have to wind it in a little bit. Also I sold a lot my possessions online and they are gone now (and my house is so much tidier!). Looking forward to learning more on here :)

I wouldn't worry too much about when you go back to work.

I work in my main job all week long and still manage to fit in my online earnings around that so you can still earn PLENTY of money even during term time! ;)

Hi
My name is Lara. I'm a single mum to two boys both with additional needs. My eldest has neurodevelopmemtal and health needs and my youngest complex medical needs. He will be starting school hopefully this month so I'm looking for a way to earn from home as I will be frequently called to school until they get to grips with his care.
I have previously done some apps and surveys with not much sucess . A lot of work for very little pay out and then I found a blog yesterday sending me to the money shed. I feel like I've finally found my break of genuine earnings and looking forward to my journey alongside you all x

Hey @Yanina87

Surveys I think are where everyone starts but like you said, you soon realise the pay isn't all that great and once you get exposed to the likes of web search evaluator work (which a LOT of people on here do via Leapforce / Lionbridge etc) or Risk Free Matched Betting (which even more people on here do!) and realise there's nothing stopping you easily making £1000+ a month online from home without any trouble surveys just don't cut it anymore lol

As is usual on forums it can be good to have a thread where you can say Hi and talk a little about yourself.

For me.

My name is Jon. I started trying to earn money from home about 5 years ago. Originally it was just to earn a bit of spare extra cash but as time has gone on it has become a sizeable amount of my yearly income.

I started out with survey sites as I'm sure most of you did and over the years now do Text Q&A and various tasks for Field Agent and Roamler.
Hi there.....My names is Gary

I,m 36 and living in london....Currently entering free competitions online and in the process of doing other things on here..
If anyone has any ideas on any legitimate apps or sites are good for making a few quid,I would be grateful.....

Gary...

Hi, I'm Rose,

As mother of two boys, even with good earning from husband, it's always feel not enough money in place. As the childcare costs so much, it not worth for me to do a full time job and losing the early age with my lovely child. But finding money is very long way. I have been joining here for couple weeks, I actually feel there is some extra I could grab with out going out from the house.

I would love to hear all your stories about how you find the website and we are all here.

Hi @Pixieyrj

Fantastic to have you on here and posting.

That catch-22 situation you are in where childcare costs make it not economical to return to regular work is why so many people end up using The Money Shed to 'fix' that problem.

In terms of starting points I would say use the Beginners Guide to Earning Online toolkit as you can make an easy £1500+ a month from that alone which should get you off to a good start ;)

If you have any questions, please just ask. Everyone here is happy to help you!
