I was invited to bemyeyes and then did a quick Google search and found The money site and have been browsing the website for the past two hours. I have never really been into technology but this is all amazing and I very much look forward to sharing my experiences and learning from all of yours.

I found this site when looking for Virgin red codes, every now and then I dip into the making money online world. Invariably though I find that I don't have the time to commit to it.
I made a lot of money in the past with matched betting but got gubbed by most major bookies and now only take advantage of the occasional offer and trade sports and forex when I have time. I live in hope like many that one day it will be easy to make a passive income online the holy grail.

Probably the most obvious way to earn a passive income is through blogging and using affiliate links, least that's how I make a passive income!

As mother of two boys, even with good earning from husband, it's always feel not enough money in place. As the childcare costs so much, it not worth for me to do a full time job and losing the early age with my lovely child. But finding money is very long way. That catch-22 situation you are in where childcare costs make it not economical to return to regular work is why so many people end up using The Money Shed to 'fix' that problem.

In terms of starting points I would say use the Beginners Guide to Earning Online toolkit as you can make an easy £1500+ a month from that alone which should get you off to a good start

Welcome on-board! Setting up a blog is easy. You can do it for free direct from wordpress with no cost to you. If you want affiliate links and earning from your own advert partners then you'll need to look at self hosting. @Jon has some great blogs on how to start up moneymaking and earning from blogs.

I think having some extra cash to enjoy doing nice things now you've got your house is a fantastic reason to earn online!

I've been in that loop before where you are just working to pay bills and not have any enjoyment each month and it's not a great place to be in so well done on finding this site and wanting to earn money online to give yourself a better life!

I found this site following a comment about it on the green site.

I'm currently on sick leave from my full-time role which I do not enjoy and am looking to leave. One of the options I'm looking at is to find a part-time role and supplementing this with online earnings. If I could earn a full-time wage online that would be amazing.

I've been having a look around this site and have found it a great resource so far.

Yesterday I set up a dedicated gmail address for my online endeavors and applied to Leapforce. Does it usually take long to hear back from them? Lionbridge are not currently hiring but I may try Appen.

I also signed up to Task 360, Field Agent and Spare5. I live about a 20 minute walk from the city centre so I'm hoping a few jobs will pop up that are local. I'll be popping into town tomorrow to purchase a cheap mouse so that I can complete the training and qualifiers on Spare5 (the pad on my laptop isn't great).

Today I plan to read through the beginners guides again, make some notes and get some more plans in place.

You wouldn't believe how many people are in the same boat as you unhappy in their jobs and they just stay and grind it out due to needing the money so it's great that you are looking to make positive steps and find a way to leave

The Beginners guide to earning online toolkit on the blog should bring you in around £1500 a month without any trouble so that should hopefully be a good start for you.

Leapforce can take quite a while to get back to touch so I would give it a few weeks...
