Hi All

I will have been married 10 years in January 2015 and as a surprise i want to take the wife to new york. Ive budgeted this and will cost about £2000 with spending money problem is i need to try and raise as much capital as i can towards this.

Any advice welcomed

Hi everyone,

I work as a merchandiser with a few hours regular work and the rest tactical. I've just got back into doing surveys as I have more time and I need to add to my irregular earnings! I'm not quite sure how I found this site a few days ago but its certainly given me some motivation. I've been back through all the survey sites I was signed up to, plus I've signed up to Neobux, Field Agent, Roamler and VoxPop.

I'm 48, married with an 18 year old daughter just about to start an apprenticeship and a 24 year old son who had recently returned home to save up so he can take a TEFL course and work abroad for a while. Oh and I live in Somerset, a couple of miles from that rather large sea you've probably seen on the news lately ;D

How have you been getting on with the likes of Roamler and Field Agent - those are very busy for me generally and I earn quite a bit each month from those apps so they work out well for me

Hope you're having a good weekend.
I have joined this forum as I am always looking at new ways to earn extra cash, previously I did it as a bit of spare money, bit now as I face the prospect of unemployment I am keen to make it work.
Starting on a bare minimum budget I have been trying to see what services I can offer to people, being a radio producer I can offer all sorts of things to radio stations such as internet stations such as sweepers and jingles, however most internet stations have no money.

So I am now trying my next method. Purchasing online in bulk then selling on a Facebook page. I have set up a website to go alongside it but need to get round to adding the products to it.

I look forward to sharing stories with you all and hope you can help me smell what sells

Jon's suggested I have a look around here. I'm Emma and I run a blog called From Aldi To Harrods, which is all about making extra money and saving money. Alongside this, I also run the "Make £10 a day" challenge on MoneySavingExpert - this is my first month now and it's going well. I've been making money online since 2006 and I'm really kicking things up a gear because I'm getting married next year, and the end goal is to be earning enough from all this online stuff to be able to quit my job. And maybe raise children. Or kittens. We can't decide

I've just started a Big Project that I'm hoping will make this all happen a lot faster. Just started as in I had the idea on Friday, so it's still in the research phase. I'll keep you all updated. This is the first thing (apart from buying things at car boot sales to resell) that will have a set up cost (I'm budgeting £200) so I'm a little nervous.

Anyway, I'm going to have a look around and get to know some of you. I probably won't post again today - just want to soak it all in.

I'm Chermaine, Jon showed me here via Netmums after I enquired about 63336.

I am currently a stay at home mum to one little boy, 4. Getting rather bored of just browsing forums all day about cheating husbands, how McDonald's is the devil and "why can't I get any benefits on a £50k+ salary".

I have been job hunting since my son started school in September but trying to find something that works around him and my husbands hours isn't easy. I only want to bring in a little extra income so my husband can stop doing stupid amounts of overtime and we can have the whole weekend together

I have just become an independent distributor for Forever Living Products. I have been pondering the idea for a while now and really wish I hadn't pondered for so long. The support you get from this company is amazing and the products are so good they practically sell themselves.
Yes I know it's selling to your friends and Mums in the playground but it is something I can do around my existing job and it's more recommending and showing not selling. I would like to build up my business to a point where I can leave the rat race and the commute and concentrate on my kids. Being a single Mum isn't easy as I know loads of you will know but most of all it makes the school holidays very expensive in childcare whilst you try and hold down your job.
