Hallo,

Have been meaning to say hi for a while now, as I'm not exactly new to the site. To be honest, I've used The Money Shed without logging in much for several months now :-X

However, in a spirit of wanting to share my experiences (and perhaps feeling a smidge lonely!) I aim for that to change from now on!

So a tiddly bit about me... I live in SE London though hail from Kent originally, am married to my lovely wife Emily, who's expecting our first child in January (so there's another reason for being more active in making, and saving, money!) Have been mystery shopping for 10+ years, and registered with everyone worth registering with... and a few who probably aren't! Love taking part in focus groups, and have every app that my iPhone storage allows - Clic n Walk, Field Agent, Pickle, Yoobic, Streetspotr, etc. My day job has always been in the charity world, managing volunteers.

So don't be surprised if you see me pop up more often on here in the next few weeks - it's not because I'm going for 10 posts for a Roamler code, if anything I hope to be charitable on this site too!

Toodle-pip for now,

Mike :D

Hi,

My name is Phil and I have been told that I am likely to be made redundant in a few week’s time. Six years ago that was bad news what with mortgage and loans all outstanding I needed a well-paying job but now things are different and we are totally debt free which removes a lot of pressure, but I still have to pay the bills.

Looking at ways of utilising the technology, space and tools that I have and 'de-cluttering' our lives by selling on eBay. Only found this site today and will be popping back from time to time and reading up on possible opportunities and passing on anything I find that may help others.

Welcome Phil ^_^ you'll find lots to keep yourself busy on here, most of us are joining the matched betting train at the moment which is easy money if you have a couple of 100 to start with. There's also the tool kit which there is a link to in the same forum as this one!

My partner was made redundant earlier this year and although its vital for him to get back to work (which he is soon) he's been filling his free time with some of the opportunities on here :)

Hey [member=2131]Coops[/member] and welcome aboard. Will you be sticking to the online bits and bobs and hunting for another job? Undecided? Starting a business?

It sounds like the long term is fine but the day to day bills and actually being able to afford to have fun are your goals. As that is the case your choices are a lot more plentiful especially since you can spend time doing the online tasks and things whilst listening to the radio, watching tv etc. and I've seen many people here do well enough around their jobs so you'll be able to get a pretty reasonable income with time on your side.

Hi All,

Just signed up here. I found the site by searching for "make money online forum". Its number one so I thought this site would be busy.

My name is Roger and I have been making money online since 2002 and making a full time living online since 2007. I have made money by web hosting, web design, SEO, PPC, property, affiliate marketing, and also selling some of my own products.

I have been a bit out of touch with affiliate marketing over the last few years so I am looking to get back into it again. I am on the hunt for some great products to sell. And of course I am always on the look out for new ways to make money online.

hi there, I am new on the forum - I live in Manchester, have a full time job and am hoping to earn a little bit extra online in my spare time on my way to trying to save as much as I can in the next 20 months or so. I would like to do a bit of long term travelling in 2017 so every little helps. very inspired by the forum - I have created a diary too! great to see so many people in different positions money wise and with a whole range of goals :)

ps despite the username I am a girl - just to avoid confusion!

Here to share and receive inspiration. I'm an art student and avid comper. I started only last year but won a nice bunch so far. It would mean a lot to earn extra cash here and there. I'm not a fan of surveys but maybe I can be persuaded.

Hey there. I'm Iain, from
Glasgow. Looking for some interesting ways to make some extra cash, and this site seems to have a lot of ideas and experience of how to do so.

I love this place, so full of good ideas as the other sites I checked out before this recommended places only US residents could use

Hello,

My name is Phil and I am fortunate enough to live in the wonderful County of Cornwall hence my own Blinds and Shutters company Kernow Blinds - I do not always make enough to cover the bills with the blinds business so looking to top up my income and looking forward to learning how to do this here, looks like I may have to sell my Windows Phone and get an iPhone.

Good luck to all and bye for now!

Phil

Hi all

I'm Kelvin and I work full time as an area manager for a bespoke kitchen manufacturer.

I have been with the company 14 years but have been looking for opportunities in my spare time (Although I don't have much) to use as a hobby / pocket money fund.
