It would seem that the legions of Secret Police who sadly found themselves redundant when the former USSR was broken up have finally found gainful employment as moderators on the the green site website.

Anytime I mention anything on their forums that is even slightly critical of the green site and its policies or post any links at all, it gets deleted without explanation

Yesterday, I posted a youtube video link to a Swagbucks user guide for someone that was finding the site confusing and wanted help - deleted! He had already signed up to Swagbucks and so there could be no suggestion of any sort of referral hunting.

Today, I commented on the mysterious disappearance of this post - low and behold, my critical post has now disappeared.

the green site pisses me off, but unfortunately it is a wealth of information, plus I'm running the £10 a day thread there, and it does send me traffic.

What really, really annoyed me is that months ago they tried to launch a Twitter chat of #dfwbloggers - debt free wannabe bloggers. I really tried to help them - I wrote a post about it, I participated for a few months, even making sure I was home for the chats. I then emailed them with some advice and asked that in return they RT a few of my blog links. I was emailed back saying they couldn't do that because of their Editorial Code.

On the competitions board, someone has been a real B****, getting hold of bloggers and abusing them via PM and blog email address. When it was brought up all the posts were deleted. Everyone knows who it is, but no one can say anything because their posts get removed.

I HATE the no self promotion thing and not being able to post your own competitions. They could easily monitor it - once you've reached a milestone like 500 posts you're allowed to self promote. Anyone who sticks around for 500 posts is going to want to be there.

I've just been reported for trying to help someone

They have asked for extra help on the income forum which everyone knows they won't get any help as most people on there are too busy concentrating on their own earnings. So rather than having the SPAM police jump on me for recommending here I PM'd them, like I have with a few others who have all thanked me for actually giving a shit, to be told I am poaching and that I have been reported. Meh

I just posted about how someone managed to find their way to milk the blog from there - so someone's stealthy posts are working

Referring MTB is ok, it isn't another forum so this is why I PM the few people who I think we could genuinely help. I don't really like the green site in the first place so scan through the messages every few days to see if I can help anyone. To be honest this is the first person to report me and not actually say "Thank you" so it has knocked me a little. :-[
