Thought there might be a few people interested in this. Gaming definitely not my thing but saw this ad on Gumtree for writers and bloggers for this (they also have an ad for video game reviewers). The ad is located in the charity/voluntary work section but that might just have been an error!

Doesn't actually say that they will be paying you though!

I see a lot of these sorts of ads on Gumtree and they all go on about you getting exposure, experience, CV-building, creating a portfolio etc but what they're really looking is for people to create content for free.

You get that a LOT on gumtree..

it's as unfiltered as facebook when it comes to posting 'opportunities' on there

If I had a referral link I wanted to earn from it is the first place I would go to post

Content creation seems to be the new 'in' thing at the moment. Doesn't matter if its bubbelws, hubpages, WA or some other company, all you are doing is creating content for them to draw in more eyeballs and earn them more advertising revenue.

That's not to say you can't earn money doing it (as I know a lot do with the bubbs) but the real winners are the people higher up the food chain.

To a certain degree it's like this site, everytime you post, that's another few terms, keywords, company names etc that Google will index as containing. I Suppose the difference is I am not paying you or saying I will pay you to post on here..

I do however pay people to write content for me which goes outside of this forum but is still connected with TMS

Only one way to find out! I'd ask myself but I'm not interested in gaming in the slightest ... although I do write content for Purecontent which is paid (but not well paid)

I might throw this one at Aaron when he gets home, he was thinking of blogging but maybe this will satisfy his need to write.
