Thank you all, I guess it doesn't seem much of a salary is all but it is significantly more than I've managed from any other at home work I've tried and it got us through a tight year so yeah I probably should be proud! Determined to beat it even with the change of circumstances. :)

I used to be happy when I was making £10 a month off valued opinions. I was like OH MY GOD I CAN PAY MY SPOTIFY SUBSCRIPTION EACH MONTH!!!

Thank you for the positivity everyone, whether you'd still say the same if you knew the hours I put in is another matter lol but we live and learn. Gotta love this place though, total game changer!

Wow! I'd love to know what sites etc you did to get that sort of figure. I can spend hours online and still not make 10% of that. I know different things work for different people and aim to try and find out what works best for me this year.

Ok thought I'd share this as it might be of interest to someone other than myself. Annual breakdown of where my earnings came from, if it has an x after the amount it was a site that got dropped at some point during the year:

Swagbucks - £745.75
Qmee - £90.72
Panelbase - £107.31
Pinecone - £39
Opinion outpost - £22.55 x
Prolific academies - £104.79
InstaGC - £14 x
Gbonus - £5.14 x
Crowdology - £17.25 x
Research opinions - £15.68
Survey network - £20.15 x
Global test market - £230
I-say - £55
Appen - £16.20
Leapforce - £2090.43
Clixsense - £13.56 x
Neobux - £2.01 x
Mintvine/Branded surveys - £147.72
uTest - £33.92
Catalyx - £35 x
User testing - £2.20
Populuslive - £50 x
Yoursaypays - £20.10 x
Pureprofile - £25 x

Other/misc - £248.23 (Ebay - £140.18, Ziffit - £46.05, Music magpie - £11.70, Carboot - £50.30) - this last category isn't strictly 'earnings' but at the beginning of the year I decided to include them since the things I sold could easily just have been given away/binned if I hadn't taken the time and energy to sell them instead.

Next to none, I only earn referral off my husbands account (which I 'help' run), the rest is the earnings from the 2 accounts.

As I've said I'm going to have to take a very different tack this year as last year it was spend as much time as possible doing as many different things as I could find which just isn't going to be possible now home ed-ing my 7 year old. Need to pick carefully not only what earns the best but what physically fits in and things are so up in the air at the minute I'm not sure how that will pan out. Right now I'm literally just doing my leapforce hr and fitting a few surveys in, I've only touched swags to take advantage of the previous months bonus and the swago board. If I lose leapforce next month I'm screwed so need to address the situation before then for def!

January 2018 total £324.99 (£304.25 cash/£20.74 vouchers), quite an improvement on Jan 2017 which was a modest £142.40 (£99.40 cash/vouchers £43 vouchers), yet I was excited about that at the time lol! As I already mentioned the change in circumstances here means I've less time available so I'm focusing on cash over vouchers and what sites/work to keep rather than what to drop. I've several places I'm just trying to get to a payout but in the main I'm keeping up with Leapforce, Branded surveys, Pinecone (so few of these I forget about them but they pay well when they do crop up), Prolific, Usertesting. Keeping an eye out for work with Appen/Lionbridge for if LF falls through later this month!

Feb 2018 total £368.21 (£340.81 cash/£27.40 vouchers), March 2018 total £332.29 (£305.29 cash/£27 vouchers).

So both up considerably from 2017 when Feb was £132.75 and Mar was £179.82 however I now have a spanner in the works as after renewing my contract at the beginning of Feb I got binned off Leapforce at the end of March anyway! They said my time on the project had expired and it was 'not due to quality issues with your work' but it was effective immediately. :( I have spent since then applying for everything else similar I could find and long story short have the Lionbridge exam starting next Wednesday (which is also my son's birthday, gah!). I'm quite worried about it so currently reading as much as I can about it to hopefully give myself the best chance of getting through it! Wish me luck!!

Sorry to hear you got binned off from Leapforce. It happened to me and you can spend a few days going OH CRAP OH CRAP OH CRAP but you ALWAYS find something else online to replace it and for me it was a BIG catalyst in wanting to create a passive income that I can 100% control instead of being at the mercy of companies who can sack me off lol

So after getting binned from Leapforce I had no joy getting anything else, the date I was meant to be starting the Lionbridge exam came and went and when I contacted them they had changed their minds so that was that! With the change of circumstances here and the vastly reduced available time anyway I decided to put my earning mission on the back burner for a while so from April-September my total earnings (including the last pay from LF which was about half it!) was a miserable £461.53 (£423.53 cash/£38 vouchers).

Anyway we had a great, busy summer and it was nice to not have to think about when I was going to fit my work in but once we got to September I decided it was time to try and find some time again. I now have 2 of my 3 kids home full time only seem to manage around an hour and a half per day but I do what I can with it. I got lucky with getting another social media job (Lionbridge this time, thru workmarket) so have been getting into the rythm of doing that each day, plus odds and ends from branded surveys, prolific and have reinstalled Qmee. Swagbucks disabled my account some months ago completely out of the blue and wouldnt tell me why so unfortunately no more amazon vouchers from that direction which is a pain. I don't have a goal as such just to make what I can with the time I can manage. Applied for a proof reading job too but not holding my breath on that one!

Now have a Son in Law, and have become the 'dreaded' Mother in Law. Many congratulations to Hazel and Matt who got married on 10th August, at the Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth, North Wales. It was a fab weekend away and the most unconventional but personal wedding ever!

Messing around with Wordpress Themes FAR too late on a Sunday night!
I knew staying away from domains wouldn't last forever - just bought another one (or two)! :D
