I've still had 100 people visit today...but I think they may have just thought the competition was still on! I've got 12 blog posts already scheduled and more planned so I'm hoping to easily break the 200 posts barrier before the end of the year.

There are always a few stragglers for the last couple of days after it has finished. Make sure you edit the post to let them know it's finished and a top tip: when the next one starts add a link in this one pointing to the new one. This one will appear in Google before the new one so visitors will click on that post first, seeing a bold link to the new giveaway will keep them on your site

You just need to think of ways of getting your blog infront of new eyeballs. That could be via Social Media or Guest Posts of forums or something I haven't even thought of lol

Its certainly fun to see my user numbers change. My adsense income still probably wont hit payout threshold for 2 years but it is increasing. I'm trying to concentrate on content at the moment. Build that up to give people something interesting to read and maybe they will hang around a bit longer. I'm also looking at how to improve the 'look' of my blog - linking posts together and the visuals of the blog itself.

It will take time but I'm enjoing it so far.

Are you managing to keep your audience numbers up.

Tbh I get the exact same thing you know. When TMS if featured in a newspaper or something we get a fairly large blip and then the numbers drop off and it's all about just trying to raise those CORE numbers.

So if you get 100 views a day and your virgin stuff is bringing in good numbers then anything over 150 a day afterwards can be seen as a success.

Also don't forget it can take MULTIPLE visits to a blog for it to become second nature for a reader where they like the content enough to keep visiting of their own accord.

3k yesterday!

I'm on holiday so my schedule posts are starting to dry up. Hope to be back to (almost) daily posts in a week or so. I need to find something similar to the Virgin thing EVERY month.

Not that it has actually made me any money, (well maybe £10 in Adsense revenue) but it's been fun having so many comments to reply to.

And people have been positive in the comments, also. That's been nice.

So there was another Virgin Red Competition. Not as big as the last one but still getting me hits. TCB have also done another treasure-hunt and between those two I currrently back to 1000 users a day.

More blog post being written and now have a guest poster interested in posting on my blog. I really need to get some guest posts on other people's blogs.

another excellent month - here are some stats for some stat-fans!

I did hit my largest ever number of users this month - 4600 in one day!

Not bad...but sad to see them all leave until the TCB Christmas treasure hunt!

I've had a phenomenal month too. Completely smashed my old daily views at least 3 times. Had around 20 new post subscribers - can't wait til Christmas now

I'm not sure to be honest. I thought it was possibly a hard clue but my best day had a pretty easy one. It must have been picked up somewhere and I didn't really take note - been a busy few days.
