I very much doubt I can quit work. Well thats the current case but if I can change this then excellent. I didn't win £160m on the eurolottery so still have to work.Tell me moar
you want to quit work or go part time or something?
Could you go down to 2-3 days a week instead and then earn the rest online?I very much doubt I can quit work. Well thats the current case but if I can change this then excellent. I didn't win £160m on the eurolottery so still have to work.

These are my last 12 months for 'online income' and you can see a difference from January where I went full time with all this and was able to focus more on high paying ops that were hard to do when you had a job alongside them lol
There are a number of things I'm looking at but I think I'll be forever working for 'the man'.
Fun fact - my mortgage is more than the uk average takehome pay.
Damn that living in London! I was promised that the streets were gold! GOLD I TELL THEE!!!!
Well that's terrifying
I mean my monthly mortgage payment is more than the monthly average take home pay.
Although that may (or may not) be more terrifying!
So a number of things need to fall into place before I can quit the rat-race and join a new rat-race.
You should move up north. I've just gone up in the world to an area where you have to pay over £100k for a 3 bedroom house. The audacity. I'm not used to anything above 80.
Is working remotely an option? I loved it, especially for the flexibility of fitting in other projects, but it depends how social you are, etc.

Why do people think going freelance / self employed is quitting the rat race or not working for 'the man'?
It's just swapping one load of headaches for another but you have more control over those headaches lol
100% risk you are spot on.I did say I'd be joining a new rat-race.
And as for 'work for the man', I think its more being 100% master of your own destiny.
100% Reward and 100% Risk.
From my readings on 'internet history', there have been a few massive shifts in SEO - however - 'most' legitimate websites have managed to remain unharmed by them (give or take a bit of advertising revenue) due to them not partaking in underhand activities that could risk their google rankings.100% risk you are spot on.
Everything could change SEO wise and I would lose a ton of income
can't really worry about that though lol
