I was put on the switchboard at work, I've only been back off maternity leave 1 month and haven't had any retraining on the switchboard again yet, and left on my own! Usually there are 2 people on there but 1 of them is off sick and the other was going out for breakfast with some of the other people and the MD. So I was by myself, with no idea what I was doing and no one to ask!! GRRRRRRR!!!

I survived it... but still GRRR!

Internal IT, I work for an ICT company and it took from December to May for them to sort out my laptop. They didn't finish the job, then I was sick, then I went on leave. So I haven't handed back the loan laptop yet and they had the cheek to have a go at me.

Thank God we don't treat our customers the same way we get treated!

I know its not his fault, he's a dog, but this blooming dog is driving me nuts today and it's not even 9am yet! I'm trying to get an hours worth of research, work online etc done and all he keeps doing is trying to climb on my lap! Its not like he's a pug or something which can sit on my lap while I work. When he's not doing that he's sitting on the back of the sofa which is side on to my desk (I swear he thinks he's a cat the way he climbs then perches on things!) doing puppy dog eyes at me with his ball in his mouth wanting me to play, or doing his "I need to go out now before I pee on the floor" dance so I let him out and he goes and stands in the middle of the yard and sniffs then comes back in ::)

It is going to be a long long day I fear

I've been up all night with really bad acid reflux! My 10 month old got me out of bed at 4am wanting a feed and then wouldn't go back to sleep.
Because I've had acid reflux at night I now have it all day!! (if i get it during day its gone in a few hours, but at night it stays for foreverrr!!)
So I'm sat at work and everytime I breathe or swallow I get a painful pressure on my chest and can feel the acid rising... :( :( :(

Need to change the time I take my pills at night cos I think they are causing it, will try to take them in the morning or lunchtime instead.

Grr :)

Whyyyy do others need to bring you down?

I've been feeling really good this morning - the sun is shining, I'm working from home tomorrow because Ikea are delivering and I'm proud of what I accomplished last night.

Colleague is stomping around in a sulk bringing us all down.

My GP is pissing me off.

Last month they gave me new meds. I've been taking and they've been effective. I've rung up to have them out on a repeat, as they said to do, and they said ok. I then said I need another prescription of my fertility drugs and they said they can't give them because the gynaecology team haven't wrote to confirm I'm still on them. Now they're allowed for 12 months on the NHS. I've had 3. I wanted 3 more which is what I was told I could have. Now I've rung the gynaecology secretary and no answer - as always!!!! I'm fuming. Then my Gp said they weren't sure if I could have the first meds during pregnancy!!!

I'm so glad I have requested them before I need them as this could fuck everything right up. We've spent quite a bit of money privately on things to help and this month decided to just stick to the meds. I've got 3 weeks til I need them again and the gp tried to console me by saying you might be pregnant now. I said not likely as I've not been pregnant for the last 6+ years of trying. So annoying when they say cliches!

And I was woken up by the courier and they dumped 10kg of cat food downstairs and I had to bring up by myself.

Oh, and to top it all off my carbon monoxide alarm (that is wired in) is beeping twice every 1 minute and I'm still waiting for the company to ring me.

Fair to say I'm a bit cheesed off hahaha. Nice to have somewhere to rant!

FUCKING ARGOS.

Pretended to come to my house to deliver my fridge/freezer. Rang em up and the bloke on phone said "oh they've put a note through your door - you live in a (then he described the house)". I said no I do not and no they have not. Anyway, after ranting, he said they are coming back to "try again". I said well how will they know where I live as they've either clearly not bothered their arse as it's a Friday, or they have been to the wrong house

Answer that one Mr Argos.

[member=355]queen81[/member] they're shits for doing that - we had the exact same thing a couple of years ago (also on a Friday and with a fridge/freezer!).

They said they'd tried to deliver to my house, funny as I live in a flat and not on the ground floor :D

That was the one I wanted!!! The water chiller one with a wine rack and frost free. It must be frost free. It had 100 quid off in argos. I went for the Indesit one in the end which was 340 but I only pay 260 (beko one was 280 and they knocked 20 quid off other day as it was with express delivery and they failed to ring me to book the delivery)

I've got the 5 or 10cm smaller one, so no wine rack, but it is frost free and I blinking love it. When I open the freezer the cold air comes out and the cats come over and enjoy that :D

What has pissed me off is my knee starting up on my jog this morning...!

I refuse to be beaten but I'll have to stick to the speed walking for a while I think!

Sorry about your plumbing [member=1]Jon@TheMoneyShed[/member]
