For me, It would have to include
Bus Travel to work - Since moving to Leeds I've seen the price of a city wide weekly pass go from £5.50 a week to £15!! The worst thing it's not like the buses have got massively more modern. Least not on FirstBuses!!
Hayfever Meds - Each year I am sort of forced into spending god knows how much on nose sprays, eye drops etc to avoid looking like i've been beaten up every morning!!
Petrol - When I first passed my driving test in 1998 the price of petrol was around 70p and now we sit around the £1.15/20p mark and every time I have to fill up it seems to cost more and more to fill the tank of my 1.2lt car up!!
Haircuts - I know women love getting their haircuts and can natter in the salon all day but as a bloke I just want to go in, make minimal conversation and get out of there ASAP and I seem to be paying more for that privilege I seem to be paying more each year for what has essentially been the same haircut for the last 8 or so years!! The place I use at the moment is £13.50 for a mens cut which is quite a jump from paying £8 odd a few years back.
Gyms - Anyone that follows me on social media knows I'm a big fan fitness but man alive do I pay through the nose for it. £41 for my membership and all I do is classes. I don't use the gym, swimming pool, spa or sauna and I sometimes just think I'm an idiot paying that much to use 1/3rd of the facilities!!
