Microtasks Clickworker

I found it very strange. It was in 3 parts. 1) Search google using eg, John Studzinski blackstone group and enter the google search you used. 2) Identify which page a specific site appeared 3) Get the URL of the site that was being asked for.

The issue appeared to be my initial google search was wrong but I can't see what I did wrong. If anybody has completed this job I would be grateful for advice on how to execute it correctly.

I do these too and never had any issues, these are the steps:
1. Type the search words into google and copy the website link for the google results page (make sure the search words are entered correctly).
2. Usually on the first page of results e.g. this is the page number for your google search results
3. For example: Whatever the query is, look for the best search result, click to open the page and again copy the website link.

Hopefully this explains itself and makes it easier to understand

I’ve not touched clickworker for probably 4+ years but from memory you used to login and do “tasks”

What are you seeing when you are on the dashboard?

Got an email from Clickworker about new jobs on it (Which was good really because i had forgot about Clickworker and i have over 50 Euro in my account) so they have a new job... phone a number and speak 3 sentences ...OK sounds interesting.... i click on to check it out... so here's the deal, you say 3 sentences onto a phone line for a huge life changing 20 pence a pop, but here is the real catch... they say on the task you will have to pay for the call, and the number is in GERMANY!!!! so they are going to give you 20p to make an international call at your expense....Emmm no thanks!

I got that email too - I registered with them a while ago and this is the first email Ive had from them. Maybe they've fielded it out to their regular workers who have laughed in their face so the next tactic is send this amazing job out to a newbie.
I dont know if Ive got a profile pic with them but if I have, i'm fairly sure it must be one with IDIOT stamped across it..

I totally agree!
Really terrible pay on anything just not worth it for most tasks on there apart from the odd well paid survey,

I had that one through as well!
Unbelievable that they expect people to pay for an International call!

I read the task, clocked it was phone calls and thought the pay rate was too low to care, so moved on. Didn't notice it was international, makes it even more laughable!

I know!!! TBH its pretty shoddy, how many will do this without knowing its costing a fortune? no doubt it doesnt start with a "This call will be expensive" warning

Guys, other than this international call thing (thanks for the warning!), how do you all find Clickworker? I'm thinking of signing up but haven't got any experience of it. Is it worth it?

Always worth joining, it costs nothing but a moment to check, it on occasion gets some really tasty tasks, although few and far between, i hadnt accessed it for about 4 months and found i had money in it that i totally forgot about... so yeah, it costs nowt and you CAN make money from it, but just be sure to read thru tasks to understand them, like this phone call one, it is very easy to think oh yeah, money for a few words down a phone line..... do 100 times that with mum at night!! but this is very costly unless you are on a German unlimited phone call contract really
