God you people are so bloody organised.

I've got premium bonds. No idea about the numbers, can't login to the website, can't be bothered to ring up to get them lol

I'm with you on the website. Although I have my login details, it's a hassle as you need to either memorise your holders number or have it handy! To view my wins each month, I have their app on my phone. Only login every few months to see my balance growing!

I got rid of mine as I needed the cash and I had never won a penny on them. I had £500 worth. My mum has a lot more, I think about 10k and she gets an odd £25 here and there. She said she gets less since they changed it a while back.

I worked out that my rate to date is a 0.4% return...but then again I'm not the luckiest person ever!

I think I will leave a few in, and cash the rest out...just need to do my research and find what to do with them!

They've just changed the % back up from 1.15 to 1.4% I think, so hopefully you'll both see some wins soon.

How much do you have?

The sweet spot seems to be around 20k. Beyond that you tend to go above average for wins.

I've been thinking about this for ages but was holding off till all debts were paid then forgot! I've just invested £100 to start with then will add to this as I earn more. I look at it like buying a lottery ticket, theres a small chance to win but at least with this I won't lose any money and can withdraw my money at any point. I can sometimes be quite lucky so looking forward to building my pot and seeing how it goes. Fingers crossed I can report back soon with some good news.

I like looking at the winners list and seeing someone who holds barely any bonds scooping a massive win.
I bought £500 worth recently after getting a bit of a bonus earlier this year. Don't think I would put thousands in unless I won the lottery or something.

I've been paying in £100 a month since the start of the year. No wins yet but I do feel better knowing it's there for a rainy day. I would earn next to nothing in a savings account anyway so it doesn't make much difference in what I'm likely to get as a return. Can keep dreaming of that big win, and at least it's not flushing my money away cos I can get it back if I need to, unlike the Lottery!

As you might have seen from the other thread, I won another £25 from my single batch of £100 of Premium Bonds.

That’s 2 x £25 in the last 6 months. I’m happy with that.
