I use Degiro, one of the cheapest share-buying services out there. But not in an ISA wrapper.i can buy oil shares or crops etc?
i can buy oil shares or crops etc?
I've used a few in the past and many are much the same, with small variations interface and in fees/spread. The two below stand out for me as on top of the usual buy/sell they have decent user interfaces and have the added bonus of being able to get free shares to compound your earnings:
Freetrade www.freetrade.io
Trading212 www.trading212.com
If you want free shares, you can use my Trading212 link: www.trading212.com/invite/FMElG7xX
Alternatively, for Freetrade: https://freetrade.io/freeshare/?code=0UD3QYDY6S&sender=H6xtKd6q
For both, just create an account (on Trading212 be sure to open the "Invest" account, and deposit £1 or more.
Cheers and all the best,
J
Nice going! I haven't made anywhere near £2k but since I received the free Ford shares, I've now more than doubled my money since buying some part shares in Teslaon a plus note ive made £2000 grand since January, i could of made more by being more experienced, but my logic doesn't seem to apply all that well to the stock market, but at the same time my logic gets me dolla
Exactly. They're all a much of a muchness. I stick with T212 because I've got used to it. They did also give me another free share, which was about the same value as my first (£9ish, I think), which was niceI prefer the new beta web app to the mobile version, but I think it just depends on what you get used to.
I do use a combination of T212, Freetrade and IG though.
How did you lose £1200 on it?Investing seems like a money pit to me. I lost like £1200 on it.
I second this!Trading212 is good. Its the only one I know that offers a totally free stocks and shares ISA. Even "freetrade" have charges for their ISA.
You can also get a free share if you sign up through a referral link:
www.trading212.com/invite/Ed4F and we both get a free share!
