I decided that in order to keep myself motivated and, well, honest, I'd start a money earning diary too.
I've been at home since my eldest (now 9) was born. My middle daughter has a heart defect and receives DLA and I get carers allowance for her. However, with the uncertainties surrounding benefits and the cuts that are expected, I need to plan for the fact that there's a good chance that it won't be renewed, I'll lose Carers and I'll have to go back to work.
I have an aim to work up to bringing in £100 per week from online sources to enable me to be able to stay at home with them and I'm really hoping from seeing some posts on here that it's going to be possible. I have been lurking for a couple of weeks before I joined to see what it was all about, but you all seem a nice bunch, so I thought I'd jump in and join you ;D
So far, I've registered with a lot of survey sites, a couple of mystery shopping places and got a few apps loaded onto my phone. Obviously far from cashing in anything but so far I've managed this :-
One Poll - £5.25
One Pulse - £2.25
Toluna - 25000 points
StreetSpottr - £7.50
Registered with YouGov - cashed out £50 a few years ago and realised I hadn't heard from them since!
Completed a couple of surveys yesterday and a £20 Amazon voucher is on its way to me
I've seen a few people recommending Leapforce, so I thought I'd apply, however it needs a CV uploading, and despite being a 40 something, I've never needed one, have no idea how to do one, so that's out for now until I can work how to do one after being out of the workforce for the last 10 years plus!
Looking forward to updating this each week
