Morning everyone,

This is when you realise that the BetBright text result is worth having, because otherwise I would have been completely ignorant to the fact that my tennis free bet had been refunded and that my bloody exchange (that lost) went through!

Annoyed is an understatement - where's the asterisk!!

Just for some confirmation about tennis bets - it's better to dutch tennis?

OMG - get this - I f up again!

I was using the Dutching calculator as if I were at the exchange - thinking: "wow, that's an amazing return" - oh wait.

Luckily, was able to cashout at the exact value of the bet.

The term "write off" never sounded so good!

I think a key part of MB is understanding how to 'fix' an issue. Never really did dutching but I'm glad you managed to wipe your face on this one.

Generally it is better to dutch some bookies. If the bookie has the same retirement rules as the exchange then you can back and lay as usual, but definitely dutch those that have different rules. Only dutch against bookies that have the same rules though. OM have a table which shows which bookies you can dutch with another (not sure about PA)

I think unless you’re very careful it seems to be common in my case that you very much learn from mistakes. If I had of seen this BetBright offer from the Reload section I am sure I would have been more aware of what I was doing!

I could see how some people would give up after a few mistakes, though.

Yes I agree.

It was only after spotting my mistake that I had seen all of the tennis rules which are located via the Dutching calculator, but going forward will be very careful when it comes to tennis.
