Prolific Academic is now my new favourite survey sites. Lots of varied topics and questions, and I've reached the £5 payout threshold within a few days! They email you about every one as well, so you don't have to keep going to the site to check.

I've given up on Opinion World - too many surveys that I didn't qualify for, even after I'd answered a lot of questions. I had only successfully done 1 survey for 50 points and I couldn't see any way that I would ever reach the 1000 point minimum payout threshold! Clixsense is doing nothing for me either apart from sending surveys I don't qualify for so I've closed my account on there too.

I'm leaving Valued Opinions as soon as I get to the £8 threshold because I keep getting screened out of surveys after I've answered 10 mins worth of questions. That's just not fair! They should know by that point if I'm not going to qualify.

iPoll STILL have not approved my rewards. They are making the most of their 6 weeks! How can it take that long when everyone else rewards you straight away?

So that leaves me with MySurvey (the best general survey site that I've found), GTM, One Poll, You Gov, Panel Opinion and Prolific Academic.

The mystery shopping tasks are coming thick and fast now! Got another one to do on Friday. I've been contacted by phone about a couple of audio and video opportunities for the future which sound exciting and they pay very well compared to other types of assignments.

Good luck with the money making. I have found mystery shopping is picking up - the amount of jobs that is not the fees, I have just done my tax form and back in 2013 some were paying three times what they are paying now. I really will have to look at Roamler - it seems that is a good source of income.

I went on another Roamler mission this morning. Hopefully it will be another £9 for biscuit checks if they all get approved. I managed to fit in another Streetbees perfume task yesterday as well, which was great as they were offering an extra £2 bonus payment to the £4 fee!

It's been a busy week! Couple more Roamlers on Thursday, and I should have got my first £3 on Clic and Walk today if my submission is approved. Mainly though it's been mystery shopping keeping me busy. I've done 4 assignments in 3 days!

A little update for February:

I'm coming up to the payment thresholds on some of my survey accounts so I'm looking forward to cashing out on those.

Roamler has been a great earner for me this month and Streetbees has been good too. I've been offered quite a few 'at home' tasks by Clic and Walk so I managed to get my first cash out with them.

Mainly though, my activities have centered around mystery shopping this month! I've been lucky to have found plenty of opportunities and I'm really having to keep myself organised with fitting them all in! My February earnings are looking great although some of the assignments I've done won't be paid until next month.

Something else I'm chuffed about... I FINALLY managed to complete 2 WUD surveys after I got to join their mobile panel! I was really pleased about this as I've had no luck with getting anything so far.

Everything is still very much a learning curve for me at the moment and I'm finding it hard to fit everything in, but it's all great experience :D

Wow, February was a busy month and seems to have disappeared in a flash! I've done lots of mystery shopping, a good few surveys, and lots of mobile app tasks. I'm sad that the biscuit tasks have finished on Roamler (as are my work colleagues who helped me eat the swag!) but I always keep my eye out for new tasks.

I'm not sure exactly how much money I've earned this month as I'm a bit behind on my accounts. It's around £120 I think. I've managed to bag a couple of really well paid mystery shops too for Feb and Mar so I should see the benefit from those in April.

I decided that I wanted to separate my extra money earning activity from my day job to stop it becoming distracting. I did this by buying a very simple and cheap mini laptop which I've moved all of my activities onto. It's helping me balance my time better too as I was taking on too much before and not giving myself any time off!

As soon as I've got my accounts straight for this month I will post an update on how I'm doing. I'm looking forward to finding out!

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted as I've been super busy but here are my updates from February and March.

February earnings:

Roamler: £39.75
MySurvey: £10.00
Streetbees: £16.00
Prolific Academic: £6.15
Clic and Walk: £3.15
Mystery Shopping: £30.00

TOTAL: £105.05

March earnings:

Clic and Walk: £15.40
MySurvey: £25.00
Mystery Shopping: £97.95
What Users Do: £15.00

TOTAL: £153.35

I'm really chuffed with these! It's been a lot of hard work, especially the mystery shopping assignments, and I have to say that for now I've decided to take a break from that as having no free time takes its toll on a lot of things. I do enjoy it and I'm sure I'll pick up assignments here and there but it is so easy to get addicted to! Some assignments have been very well paid and I am expecting a further £250 or so to come in over the next couple of months from tasks I've already done.

For now I've decided to stick with simpler things like surveys, WUD, and the phone app mystery shopping tasks. They are easier to fit in around my free time than mystery shopping where you have to prebook your tasks and time a week or more in advance.

WOW!!

Well done you! - That is some fantastic work there with the mystery shopping

I used to EVERYTHING that I could do when it came to MSing. Every lunchtime I was doing something and then around work as well..

Like you said its very easy to get slightly addicted to trying to fit the work into your life in a more natural fashion
