My partner and I keep a giant plastic Coke bottle which we put pennies in (because they're brown, sort of coke coloured right?) but don't think we'll be getting to a £1k target anytime soon at this rate!
Let's hope they bring out a Coke 'gold' edition so we'll have an incentive to put those pounds in

It was getting to the point where the OH would go in my purse and empty it into the tin, and then I would go to buy some bread at the shop and had no bloody money. He then started putting fivers in, tenners, Im sure a twenty quid note found its way in there too. It was getting to the point where he was almost writing himself cheques, just for the tin. I opened it and vowed never again. Too obsessive lol

Love it - that was hilarious to read queen81!

He loves the idea that it is now so heavy he struggles to lift it and that it makes one hell of a noise when shaken - no idea how much is in there but once it is full I'm sure he will have plenty of ideas on what it can be spent on (I'm secretly hoping he opts for a PS4 - Just saying )
