Oh my!!! Trying to set up all the many many many things within step 4 email!! On the 'HRS toolbar user guide' have you literally gone through each step! It is taking a very long time!! And can't access the guidelines without the toolbar. Is there any other way to start revising the guidelines without the hours of work in this document???

4 hours later....Ok- I'm v v v v stressed. How many different documents, websites, links , login and passwords etc can there be!!!Have spent hours trying to get this stupid toolbar working with no luck. The instructions just don't tally up to our computer. Now I've noticed that it said you must use Internet explorer version 9 or 10. And we have 11. Could this be the problem? Does anyone use 11? Surely the client wants the work done on the most recent version??? If I need to get version 10, how do I go about it??? If there is anyone in the North West, near Preston who can spare an hour or 2, I'd be the most grateful person alive. If this is any resemblance to the actual work I might as well give up now.

I'm really appreciative of all the test practice that they give you. I know a lot of people are put off with it being unpaid work, but I figure if I'm going to get paid if I get through it, it's worth taking the time to get it right. I was flung right in at the deep end with Leapforce by having to take a test with no idea how I was doing as I did it, and I think that's why I flunked it. This time I started off quite badly with some of the practice examples, but the way they're structured is really helpful and I'm definitely getting the hang of it now. Hopefully a bit more practice and I'll be fine to take the test. Fingers crossed!

Aargh, made a couple of really dumb mistakes on the exam. I have already now made the maximum number of mistakes to keep me above the pass mark, and still have half a dozen questions to go. Going to have to tread really carefully now, or else look forward to a second chance. Taking a break to kick myself for a bit :-[ So annoyed, I really thought I had this sussed, and will be gutted to miss out by one or two, especially as I know it was my own fault for not being as careful as I thought.

As expected, I made one last error which pushed me just down into the fail category. Will wait for official confirmation, but I'm hopefully I'll get to go again.

They tell you as you're doing it! It's all about learning as you go, I've found it a really good training exercise and application process.

Hi, I applied for a Crowdsourcing vacancy with Appen and have completed and passed the test tonight. They advised me to click on the 'work available' tab which at the moment says there is nothing available and I will be e-mailed when there is a project. Does anyone know if this means I have been accepted and how does it work with jobs/being paid now? Thanks
Confused..I've just been sent an email by appen inviting me to take their test in the email it says the link to the test will be sent in a separate email but I haven't got that email? ??? Before anyone says check your spam folder I already did and it's not there either. Does it usually take a while to arrive or have they forgotten to send it to me ?

I emailed them to say i hadnt received it and they emailed back apparently you have to add them on Skype first then they send it out. Its a little confusing, why not just say that in the first place
