I have managed to get through £1000 wagering before but it took probably at least 10 bonus rounds to get me through. You don't have to win much from the free spins but you'll always need a bonus round quite early on in wagering to get through it I think.

Are you actually seeing the bonus decrease as you spin when you go into account > bonus ?
