@darksideofthemoon yes you can. It'll probably show up as an average of the two odds once placed but there's no problems with putting multiple bets on the exchange. You can even use the same exchange to lay off the home team, the away team and the draw in the same match.

Quick question, please

I already have a bet for today and would like to place a bet on the same team with a different bookies. Can I use the same Exchange e.g. Betfair for this? The Lay Stake and Lay Odds are different.

If this is possible, will it show up and be treated as a separate bet?

Just be aware that the exchange will group it all as one big lay bet so, as mentioned, the odds you get will be an average of how ever many you put on, and also if your bet wins at the exchange it'll all be one big sum (e.g. if you win £10, £10, £22 at the exchange then it'll show on your transcript as a £42 win).

I have, on occassion, forgotten that I've put two lay bets on the same team and been excited for 0.2 seconds that they've paid me too much winnings when in fact it's been winnings from 2 or 3 bets :

you are quite right - I did hit confirm and have bet with them before I think it just timed out. Slightly pleased to hit a horse refund with them later on though so that is £25 back already so all is not lost!

I place my betmclean bet (or I think I do) of £25 and it fails, except I don't notice it has failed until about 30mins into the game and by that point I have obviously laid with smarkets against my chosen event happening (a draw)

Luckily the draw didn't happen so I made £17 there by accident

I also didn't lay my £50 bet on betfair so won money there with a £50 free bet to come tomorrow

Got £10 in free bets from SJ as well

Just to say I placed my first free bet yesterday; it settled a short while ago and I made a £13 profit.

I was a reader of this thread for quite sometime before I actually took the plunge. At a point, even when I used to read it, MB wasn't something I considered for myself (for various reasons). But now I'm doing it.

nope don't touch those except for big race meetings

I just stick to Channel 4 races and use Match Catcher alongside it...

BFSB have by far the easiest free bet to trigger as you only have to bet on a horse above 4.0 and hope it wins...

Combine them with match catcher and you are spending about 7-12p qualifying loss so you can do a bunch and you are only punting £1 in total

I have such an odd problem with 888sport and Safari

I am literally unable to deposit money when on Mac. I login > go to deposit and it asks me for my login details again and it just rejects them constantly!!

to get around this I have to use my iPhone and go onto the 888sport mobile site and I am them able to deposit absolutely fine
