Gah!, been a long time since using PA oddsmatcher, I forget how crap it is, anyone recommend a free oddsmatcher on another site? Trying to place my Pokerstars free bets but PA doesn't do Pokerstars!
[member=117]Blackpepper1[/member] BoB is probably worth the sub, I dunno how it matches up against Oddsmonkey, but it has more offers than PA certainly (Though I see PA is catching up with the sign ups that were only on BoB) and the BoB Oddsmatcher is up to date and includes ALL the bookies unlike PA... Where BoB falls down slightly is the support forum. I will maybe try some other 1 month subs myself once my PA finishes.
Go with oddsmonkey as with the oddsmatcher it has all the bookies include the new ones and it refreshers every minute

I have noticed with the PA Oddsmatcher it isn't always up to date and also the odds are usually not the same as on the bookie site.
I refresh but it doesn't help much.
Good to know the Odds Monkey one is better. I will definitely be trying that for a month or so when my PA membership ends then just do the paid year with Odds Monkey if I get on with it ok.
Least there are different options now.

I had already paid up front for a year when i found oddsmonkey and decided to try it for a month just to see and took "a loss" on the month sub, so glad i did i find OM a lot easier and I'm loving the "each way matcher" as I can easily make £10 a day on horses with this as these are just mug bets and i use my gubbed account's with these a lot!!
Of course its each to their own preference but i don't think I'll renew my PA account when it comes around!!

The oddsmatcher on PA is quite bad really for what you pay compared to the others. Shame really because I'm happy with everything else on the site, but the oddsmatcher just isn't good enough.

On another note...today's PP offer...who is everyone hoping to lose at half time?

I think i'm going to avoid it today actually

I haven't done ladbrokes offer as I've done that the last 2 weekends and I scored a £25 refund with this PP last week as well so don't want to take the mick and have them gub me!!

I find rotating around your bookies from week to week works out quite well in terms of not getting gubbed

[member=504]Petrolman[/member] You say you make around £10 a day doing the EW horses with your gubbed accounts. Roughly how much time do you spend doing this? Do you need to do it throughout the day or can it all be done in one sitting?

I don't use the oddsmatcher on PA much at all, only if I'm really stuck and even then it's rarely helpful. I tend to do manual matches. It's a shame BoB went paid as I hadn't got around to using them much yet but I understand why they've done so.

[member=2607]stonecrows[/member] It differs from day to day I can spend 10mins or half an hour depending on what's available and which bookmakers as I don't have accounts with all of them. for example yesterday I made £10.92 on two races yesterday one after the other so did this in one sitting around 15mins. I also needed around £800 liquidity in smarkets which i'm lucky to have. Sometimes I'm happy to make £1.50 on a race with smaller odds and come back to it later and make £3 on another couple.
I also find it's much better on the day of the race as NR's can make a huge difference and usually at a loss!! (most NR's are declared around 9.30 in the morning) Although with OM's calculator you can filter it to avoid more than one NR changing the place payout.

If you have a gubbed account from promotions etc sometimes you can still bet with them on normal bets (Paddypower and Ladbrokes still let me do this) Also i dont use the same bookmaker for multiple bets every day unless it wins then I believe i look more like a mug punter lol.

Thanks Petrolman. I can do bets on the day, just don't want to be tied to having to be near a computer most of the day. I appear be stake restricted with Lads but will have to see what my horse stakes are like as I've only tried football so far.

Bank of Bets is now no longer a free service, just logged in and now it wants £15pm/£149pa... It still has the better oddsmatcher and far more offers than PA has. Bit of a shame that, I like BoB but not willing to pay 2 services, so am back to slumming it with PA till January when my sub there runs out

Lol, slumming it....

Am going to try that new accumulator software PA have today I think
Have you tried the trail offer on Acca generator.its has great features and updates very quickly.
Have not..... I will look into that, and I hear good things about OM too... will have to check that out when time comes too

I've never used BOB but the reality is that any website or service costs money to run and needs to recounp that money somehow

the green site has skim links
TMS has affiliate links
Google / Facebook have ads

There might have been another avenue bob could have gone down to get that money back but this is the avenue they chose and that's just the way services run these days :)
You are correct Jon, I don't begrudge them going premium, just a bit saddened that what was an excellent free service has now had to start charging (selfish LOL)

I haven't had much luck with EW matcher yet - perhaps I am not quick enough or need to spend more time waiting for the best matches to come up.

As one of the aforementioned newbies - is it something I should be worried about?

I have erred on the side of caution with it, as it was downloaded to my machine when I logged into Coral on one of the early days. I think it's worth newbies looking into it at least, though there are differing opinions on it.

Did a search - only appears in relation to Chrome and more specifically in flash for Chrome - don't even use that for bookies

PA does do Pokerstars (you need to look for Pokerstars not Betstars) - unless you mean it doesn't do horses (annoying for me as well and why I searched for free alternatives).

Free ones I am using (in addition to PA - as it is quite buggy/frustrating as was also mentioned) are:

https://www.freebets4all.com/automatcher/ - this has some of the ones PA does not have (such as Comeon) and does show immediate profit/loss if you fill in the details. Cons are it opens a pop-up/new tab to the offer page of the bookie you are searching on, and doesn't have Smarkets.

http://bonusbagging.co.uk/oddsmatching.php - this is limited and on a 10 min delay

I am still in my first monthly sub with PA so may look at OM for a month - I like that the OM oddsmatcher has safe links to the market on the bookie/exchange to speed things up.

Are there any advantages for a newbie to PA over OM?

I would say the hand holding and sheer size of the PA community on that forum are BIG plusses for when you are starting out.

On top of that you can call them during office hours if you need emergency help with a bet that has gone wrong

ultimately I guess it's about choosing the service that works best for you want out of matched betting

Yeah £31 down in the end

I don't expect great things to be honest

I AGAIN don't know why I do these 20p a spin type offers as it just winds me up when I get "MASSIVE WIN" and it's £4.20 lol
