Gah!, been a long time since using PA oddsmatcher, I forget how crap it is, anyone recommend a free oddsmatcher on another site? Trying to place my Pokerstars free bets but PA doesn't do Pokerstars!
[member=117]Blackpepper1[/member] BoB is probably worth the sub, I dunno how it matches up against Oddsmonkey, but it has more offers than PA certainly (Though I see PA is catching up with the sign ups that were only on BoB) and the BoB Oddsmatcher is up to date and includes ALL the bookies unlike PA... Where BoB falls down slightly is the support forum. I will maybe try some other 1 month subs myself once my PA finishes.

PA does do Pokerstars (you need to look for Pokerstars not Betstars) - unless you mean it doesn't do horses (annoying for me as well and why I searched for free alternatives).

Free ones I am using (in addition to PA - as it is quite buggy/frustrating as was also mentioned) are:

https://www.freebets4all.com/automatcher/ - this has some of the ones PA does not have (such as Comeon) and does show immediate profit/loss if you fill in the details. Cons are it opens a pop-up/new tab to the offer page of the bookie you are searching on, and doesn't have Smarkets.

http://bonusbagging.co.uk/oddsmatching.php - this is limited and on a 10 min delay

I am still in my first monthly sub with PA so may look at OM for a month - I like that the OM oddsmatcher has safe links to the market on the bookie/exchange to speed things up.

Are there any advantages for a newbie to PA over OM?
I would click on any links to bookies as they will know where you have come from and will know what your doing.personaly I would go straight to bookies site and look for that oddsmatcher you have found.
Oddsmonkey don't do horses either.

I have a quick question, if you guys don't mind?

My husband has been MBing for a little while (a week or two) and I'm wanting to do it too... but I've seen references to the bookies not liking more than 1 person at an address betting with them? Is this the case? Or might it just be that some will / some won't?

Oddsmonkey don't do horses either.

All the links to bookies go through www.safeurl.co.uk so they are screened from the bookies so they don't know the source.

Are you sure they don't do horses - as the free version of the odds matcher does show horses

Thanks for those... oddly I just checked again on PA oddsmatcher and NOW it has lots of football matches on Pokerstars, whereas earlier today (when I needed it there was zero!!)

Unfortunately this happens a lot with pokerstars on the PA oddsmatcher - this is the 'buggy' I referred to in my original post

Can I ask a quick question? Not technically started matched betting yet (but thinking about it) - I signed up to Betfair as there was a good Quidco offer, plus a free bet (so £10 got me a free £10 bet and £20 cashback so I figured nothing to lose). Anyway, in profit (£5ish) after those 2 bets so decided to do the sign up slots offer and won £140!

Have cashed some of my winnings out to remove temptation to treat it as 'free cash' and gamble it all, but was trying to put £25 on the top goalscorer offer (the one where you get £5 free bet each time your selection scores) and it won't let me. Any ideas why? I have enough cash in the account.

no sure without you showing us a screen shot but why do that offer and RISK £25 when you could do it 'Matched Betting' style and lay that bet off ;)

Thanks Jon. Looks like it was a glitch as it will let me do it now, but I've decided against it.

Been reading up on the Matched Betting and think I will start with the football next weekend - will leave the rest of money that is in my Betfair account as start-up capital and hopefully I'll be ok.

888 free bets for GMM arrived and the I had an email from them saying because of my 'last minute heartache' and my bet losing at the last minute they had given me another £20 free bet so £40 overall. A bit odd but never mind. Must mug them this week.

I have such an odd problem with 888sport and Safari

I am literally unable to deposit money when on Mac. I login > go to deposit and it asks me for my login details again and it just rejects them constantly!!

to get around this I have to use my iPhone and go onto the 888sport mobile site and I am them able to deposit absolutely fine

Very odd...Not tried it on chrome yet on here as I've decided to use Safari on this mac and so I want everything to work with that really

I believe I had the problem when i started matched betting, if I remember correctly I had to go into the preferences, and tell it to allow all cookies. (Safari Menu -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Always Allow), I also found some slots didn't load properly unless I did that.

Just back to MB and will try to go through some advanced offers this month - as much as the time allows. Felt a bit daunting when I looked into them though!

That makes perfect sense!

I know what you mean, some of them can require quite a big bankroll

don't forget there is NOTHING stopping you grabbing a few of the reloads which will require a lot less of a 'pot'

Yes I agree. I would say don't attempt the Netbet and Bet365 ones until you have at least £1500 Bank Roll. Plenty of room then in case you keep winning.

I decided to do a bit of 'housekeeping' this morning and withdrew from some accounts that I haven't been using lately...found 23p in bonus funds still in Netbet from an old offer, thought I may as well use it. Won £15.00 from a 20p spin, checked what wagering was left and got through it with £23.20.

Nice little start to the week!! ;D ;D
