Hi Guys. Can anyone help with this one? I signed up to Betvictor and have received a £30 casino bonus which will expire tomorrow.

Could someone please explain what wagering is and what it means that it must be wagered 40x? Thanks :-[

Hi [member=5645]sillymoo[/member]

I've edited your post as you can't show what is shown on PA elsewhere

To answer your question to wager a £30 casino bonus x40 means you have to try and make that £30 bonus last through £1200 worth of spinning before you can withdraw!

Maybe you make it last, maybe you don't, either way there is no risk involved!

Thanks [member=1]Jon[/member] . I never thought I shouldn't be copying what they say as assumed everyone on here would have some sort of membership with them.

Looks like there is no chance in wagering through £1,200 but I'll give it a shot later today. Are the winnings theoretically higher the more you pay per spin? And will it show how much has been wagered while I'm spinning or do I need to keep track somehow?

[member=5645]sillymoo[/member] I generally stick to max lines and minimum bet per spin as I get more spins for my money and therefore more attempts at hitting a bonus. Some do higher bets hoping they will hit a bonus and win more.
I always keep track of wagering on my phone calculator. I type in the amount of wagering I need to do and minus my bet amount each time.

Yes you win more on a bonus round if you do £1 spins but I would do 25p/50p ones until you hit a big bonus round and get a bit of a buffer

I am planning to do StanJames 5 free spin for a new user and then go onto 5 free spins on Red Riding Hood. I had it confirmed by the online chat that technically if I join today I can get 10 free spins. My question is which slot to use for the "join in" spins and also any other tips?

I had a £5 Betfair exchange games bonus appear out of nowhere. Was a bit wary as I am rubbish at card games and couldn't get Roulette to load but managed to turn it into 8.50 I could withdraw on Blackjack. If I actually knew more about it I am sure I could have got much more but stopped the second it wasn't a bonus any longer :)

I've not won anything (obviously!) but I think I have worked out a way of keeping track of how much I wagered and I'm wondering what you think about it.

Basically I would check my starting pot, work out how much I'd have left after a number of automatic spins, set automatic spins and then check the pot after the spinning was done. The difference between the actual and expected pot balance after the automatic spins would be my winnings. So I kept setting automatic spins and only came back to write down the wins and to set more automatic spins. In the end the wagering should be the starting pot plus all the wins minus the closing balance. I think it makes sense but obviously don't have any experience to confirm if it would work every time.

[member=5645]sillymoo[/member] To be honest I just do a tally on a post-it ;D

I write down my starting balance at the top, the amount I need to wager and also a 'STOP AT £x' which basically tells me what my balance should be if I were to bust out (i.e. lose the whole bonus) so I don't accidentally start using my own funds. Pop autospin on for however much bonus funds I have, do a tally mark for each £1 and keep going until I've wagered it all or I've bust out.

I'm not sure how this would work if you hit a bonus round though as autospin stops I believe if you hit one.

on betfair (and maybe others) you can hit the dropdown on the autospin options and make it so it doesn't stop if you hit a bonus around

It also depends on the slot. On Jack Hammer it will automatically do the bonus round for you, but on some (such as Halloween Fortune) you need to pick something if you get the bonus round so it won't auto play - it does still remember where you are in the number of auto spins though.

I like playing slots so as long as my qualifying is covered I just treat it as free play and spread it out over a number of days (depending on the limitations of the offer)

On a lot of them it is a tick box on the dialogue where you have to set a maximum loss limit

[member=4097]Knopfler[/member] Yes, that's what I'd do - go for something you think it likely to lose at Betfair, obviously - so you get the 50% refund. There is probably a way to lock-in profit but personally I'd just have a punt.

Thanks [member=2431]Uhhhhh[/member] Blooming thing won, of course - grrrrrrrrr
