It wont

I’ve made over £40,000 from Matched Betting alone and only £1000 of that was sign ups!!

@rninja - drop some knowledge on young @Loubla about all you can do post signups!
@Loubla, all those small reload offers will grow your bankroll steadily over time.

Off the top of my head with a 1K bank the easiest to do would be:

- Skybet Saturday Soccer special
- William Hill weekend scratch
- William Hill special treble
- GoWager 0-0 refund
- All the weekly free bet clubs
- Casino free spins - either no risk free spins or low risk £5/10 offers

And loads more too. I signed up to buzzbingo last night with £10 and they have a good welcome offer and some tasty reloads.

Oh and then you've got enhanced multiples at the likes of Betway, Unibet, 12bet, The Pools, etc

Plenty to keep you busy and earning!

Analysis
Cornelius Lysaght, horse racing correspondent
There is such a feeling of deja vu here, 18 years almost to the day since I recall being at Wincanton races when news first emerged of the outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the UK in 2001.
Racing was stopped for a while, and eventually the Cheltenham Festival was called off altogether.
There's no suggestion that this incident will cause the same kind of disruption, but that said there's big element of uncertainty about what happens next, and any further shut-down - Cheltenham is again looming - would clearly have a considerable effect on the sport but on all the ancillary industries that go with it.

Sorry to keep asking questions, but do these offers all appear on profit accumulator or is there some research on your behalf?
Is there other places you use? or do you get emailed promos and act on them

All reload offers appear on PA and OM, they change daily and sometimes a few times a day on a Saturday and a few times an hour during Cheltenham!

The odd exception would be free spin offers that can be personalised and tend to come in the form of emails

Yes, as Jon said the daily calendars. Also, PA and OM have active user forums with all the latest offers and strategies. I'm a geek so also check historical posts and use that info to develop my own tactics :)

Also noticed on betfair you can freeze exchange points, i am due to go away for 3 weeks at the end of feb. Should I do this?

Thanks

If you are earning enough exchange points to make a difference, then you are either a Trader or are not using Smarkets or Matchbook enough ;)

It's up to you, but I wouldn't go out of my way to use Betfair unless it's markets like To score 2 or more goals that aren't available on other exchanges.

Sorry again dumb question, the bonus lock in calculator.
When it says 80% from free bet, does this mean of say a £10 free bet i place I expect to win at least £8 with it, or does it mean i have to make £8 profit either from the exchange or from the free bet?

But so far really enjoy it and it's given me something to do. Although my adblocker messed up my smarkets offer :(

Glad its going well. With the free bets you normally expect to come out with around 80% profit. So for a £10 free bet you would lay £8 to end up with £8 profit either from the exchange or from the win at the bookmaker.

Hi, it means that you will convert the free bet in to £8 profit - regardless of the outcome of the event you're betting on. If your back bet wins - profit goes to your bookie account. If your lay bet wins - profit goes to your exchange account.

I don't make £8 profit, does this mean i need to be looking at higher odds? It normally says £3-4 using the calculator but this is also in line with with what PA says i'll make.
The pools for example says i will make £1.50 - £2 from the offer and i'll be up £1.95 according to the calculator.
That's a £5 free bet but i'm not making £4 profit?
Am i being dumb

For free bets you should be using anywhere from 4.0-6.0 I would say

The reason you're making £1.50-2.00 from The Pools welcome offer is that it's a £5 free bet if your first bet loses.
Place your first bet as Stake Not Returned (SNR), if it wins then you're finished.
If your first bet loses, you get a £5 free bet - again to be used as SNR.
So, you're losing a little from a 2-stage welcome offer rather than a simple bet X get Y free bet where you'd be expected to make £3.75 to £4.00 from a £5 free bet.
