They have to be 'qualifying searches'. I am not 100% what these are unfortunately but I try and use it as a search engine as much as possible and it soon adds up. Sometimes you get 1p per 4 searches sometimes 2p.

going to have a go at the games, any tips?Since a lot of people are wondering.... elsewhere I recently posted a comparison of SwagBucks vs Inbox Pounds game offerings. Games take a bit more work that the offers mentioned in my post above, but they are still a nice little earner.
Fact is, the offers change frequently, but usually Inbox Pounds pays more. Also, if an offer has paid more in the past then it will usually increase again (e.g. do not play The Grand Mafia or Mafia city for any less than £70 each).
The comparison I made below was about two weeks ago.
Inbox Pounds Vs Swagbucks
I've earned over £300 doing the game offers on Swagbucks, but I realised that I could have earned more for most of those same offers if I had used Inbox Pounds.
So I've switched, and last month I made £40 on Inbox Pounds. I'm just finished playing King of Avalon for £70, when the same offer would have netted 6000 Swagbucks (~£54) *Note, I do not recommend trying this particular offer unless you are familiar with other city builder games.
Just to illustrate, here are some offers that were listed on both sites (about a week ago). Inbox Pounds lists the cash value of the offer, but on Swagbucks you are paid in points (Swagbucks). To compare the two, I used the preferential 6500 Swagbucks = £50 redemption to calculate the value of these offers. But you can only access this rate if you save up points for the highest £25 and £50 voucher amounts.

Games I have completed: Mafia City, Rise of Kingdoms, Slotomania, Bingo Pop, Merge Dragons, PopSlots, Club Vegas, The Grand Mafia, King of Avalon.
For most of the offers I looked at, InboxPounds pays out significantly higher. On average, you get 31% more with Inbox Pounds. Only two offers (Club Vegas & Merge Dragons) pay out less on InboxPounds, so it is definitely worth checking which of the two sites pays more.
If anyone else wants to jump ship with me to Inbox Pounds, then I'd appreciate if you used my referral link and net yourself a £1 bonus! Here's the link again:
Merge Dragons is a nice easy one to start with, its also a relatively fun puzzle game. And there are guides for completing it.... just google it. I think the tip I remember most, is that it actually credits a few levels after where the requirements state and there are some levels you can skip!going to have a go at the games, any tips?
