I have not done one with retail active for a while, but pretty certain most are multiple choice, where you select a certain answer, then some will be written, definately not all 70 will be written

Thank you! The one I'm looking at requires a purchase in store up to £5 which will be paid back to you. Is it ok to purchase something then return it later?

The notes should tell you, if not you could email them and ask. I know a lot of companies do not like this for example Market Force always say you can not return, and they would stop you from taking more assignments, if the notes do not say best to ask. I always try to find something I would buy anyway, so you are maximising your profit, if not for yourself then as a gift. You can generally find something for the price you are given. I also always try to buy as close to the amount you can spend.

I always look at finding something I am going to use or need. Or some of the shops I do, I have realised I can buy a chocolate bar or sweets so at least I get to enjoy the purchase :).. I do have other things that I tend to give away.

Hi all , has anyone heard of ukmysteryshopper.co.uk ?
I keep getting emails from them and not sure whether they are trustworthy? I did check Google to see what people say and they talk about them asking for payment hence not trustworthy but I'm not asked for any.

I do quite a lot of mystery shopping and I have never heard of them. It seems from the website that it is about posting reviews rather than mystery shopping. I am not sure what I think, I couldn't find where to sign up.

Hi there,

So, today, I am finding myself with no surveys or mystery shopping assignments to do :-(

I am currently a member of Edigital and WhatUsersDo but I am very interested in joining more companies like this in order to
increase my workload. Due to a medical condition, it is difficult for me to visit stores at times so the website/online assignments are
perfect for me.

I have found that I am not receiving assignments from the above companies often at all. Can anybody recommend other companies that
provide this sort of work?

Thanks in advance :)

From memory ESA Retail have a lot of mystery shops that just involve phone calls.

Have you joined uTest, a lot of people seem to earn a fair wedge from them.

I know you say you find it hard to meet specific times for regular mystery shopping but Market Force (again from memory) just give you a day you need to complete the assignment BY which would give you quite a bit of flexibility.

Hi there

I've found GFK offer quite a few online/phone call mystery shopping jobs once you are registed http://www.gfk.com/solutions/mystery-shopping/become-a-mystery-shopper/

Market Force used to offer quite a few but no idea if they still do as I don't really mystery shop anymore, perhaps someone else can confirm?

Thanks [member=1]Jon[/member] and [member=214]katastrophy[/member]

I am a member of Market Force but have only completed one assignment for them. I find a lot that are available to me would
involve parking fees and more than likely end up costing me to complete the jobs.

I will take a look at the ones you have both suggested though. Thanks again :)

Blue Apple (http://www.theblueapple.co.uk/#!) often have telephone assignments (or at least they did when I worked for them). They are a lovely company to work for.

The petrol alone rules me out of doing most jobs for Marketforce. I've literally got to be passing to consider one and even then it's not really worth the time and effort.

[member=2881]LeanneWils[/member] How about trying WhatUsersDo and/or UserTesting - you test websites and apps and each test pays $8 for WUD and $10 for UT. I use UT more though.

Don't forget you can include petrol as an expense when you do your tax return

ESA currently have broadband checks for BT, SKY etc. You can do web, telephone or visit, but only one per company and not your current company , you do not have to give your own post code for the webchats, but hou have to use your name and number. Pay is £7for webchats, and telephone is £10. https://www.esa-webms.co.uk/signup.

Right

Go and sign up to these guys

http://uk.marketforce.com/

They have pretty much all the major bookies on their client list

I can't elaborate on which bookies as you can't talk about that publicly. It would be like crossing the streams, only worse!

Anyway sign up to them, I have done MANY bookie tasks.

Go in, place a £2 bet. Or play one of the machines. That's pretty much the extent of what you are asked to do

I just place my £2 on anything that is a sure fire win (well as best as you can). You get your money back + fee and then you get the profit from the bet winning as well

Easily my favourite mystery shopping ventures

Jon,

After you have placed the bet, then what else is required - Is there some form of paperwork and how long does that typically take?

Just the same amount of work as any other mystery shopping company

Handful of questions, some of which are open ended but that's it

Thanks Jon. It is something I have never done but something that interests me. It's just I wouldn't want to be getting bogged down with lengthy forms to complete as I don't always have unlimited time.
