Yes, I did a load of mentoring tasks last night. I felt a bit harsh telling people their work wasn't good enough but luckily most people do the tasks correctly.

I copied and pasted a standard comment for those tasks that were done well to speed things up but when the task wasn't right I spent ages trying to be helpful and not too discouraging.

I had a task pop up that said something along the lines of checking people's bounding box tasks and to give them feedback. Is that mentoring or is it just another task?

Yeah, that's the mentoring one. I feel harsh judging peoples bounding boxes because some of the tasks are difficult but the mentoring tasks pay better so they're a good way to build up your earnings.

I didn't get around to it before it disappeared. I don't like saying negative things to people either. I always try to word it sort of positive about a negative, if you see what I mean.

The bounding task is horrible on a mobile device - pretty much impossible to get exact. I much prefer it on the odd occasion that it pops up online. It's easy peasy on a laptop.

I've just done a web task - carry on a simulated support conversation. That was quite fun. I guess someone's programming virtual support robot thingys.

I had an awesome task last night. Just had to say whether a fashion item was more than 50% visible in the photo. Was easy and quick and I could have kept going for ages but it was the middle of the night and I was too tired. It was gone when I woke up which is unfortunate.

That sounds fun. It's a shame that the push notification and email alerts aren't reliable. I think I miss a lot of good stuff - probably because it comes on when I'm asleep. I just can't stay awake like I used to in my younger days lol.

Yeah, I was tired and I was worried I'd start to make mistakes and affect my rating so I stopped. I just did the conversation task. That was OK. It seems like Spare5 is gearing up again after a quiet period.

On one of the conversation task ones, I would so have liked to type 'Well feck off then!!' But I didn't think that it would be appropriate ;D

I used to do ok on Spare 5 particularly when they had all of those attorney tasks. Recently I find it a bit hit and miss and I'm always forgetting to check it. Did a task last week which was easy and made me $5 but (like everything in my life) I need to be more consistent!

I did a few bounding boxes this morning. Some were asking for items which weren't even in the photos!

Have got conversation tasks again. Some of the conversations are really random.

I think they were given to people who were featured in 'The Guardian' post online, just wondered if it was anyone else from the shed

Nevermind, ignore me, they were given out in June 2015 to people in the 'Inner Circle'. Whatever that means.

I haven't heard anything for a while, probably a good job as sure half the people moved on to other things! Good news about the mentoring though, makes more sense to use people to mentor who are consistently completing those tasks well themselves. The updates they've done, with the %s etc looks really good too.
