There must have been allot of prices required as there was 45 questions to answer.

how unearth are you meant to know the price of all those beers!!!

It's not like bars have a 'beer menu' anymore

I have no idea!
It would be interesting to be hear from somebody who completed the task!

Only Wetherspoons have an actual menu on the table others don't so would be interested to know myself from someone who completed the task as to how they got on...

I can only imagine that they stood at the bar asking the bar tender the price of all the items. I can't imagine that would go down well on a Friday or Saturday night. I used to be a bar manager in a previous life and I would have had anybody trying to do that swiftly escorted from the premises, via the back door!

Was coming on to ask the same question, they called and asked if I could do some but I was working late. They're on next weekend too and there's a whole load near me, can't imagine standing in a noisy bar trying to get the prices for 40 different drinks though.

I am extremely curious as to how people completed the pub tasks given how extremely difficult it would have been without using a drinks menu.

The nearest ones to me were about 60 miles away. I can't imagine doing them either particularly on a busy Saturday night!

As many of you may know Streebees listed 100's of £10 tasks last week. About 1pm into the first day there whole system crashed. By then I had done six jobs and spent £25 on petrol, I had intended to do another six and was now 60 miles from home. It now looks like they are not going to pay for the six I had done and successfully uploaded as they "can't find the data". There system is slow clunky is not an app but a web based system. It cannot cope with high volumes. So be careful investing time and money with Streebees you may just wind up loosing money like me.

Hi - in their defence Streetbees have been very helpful with many members here.

They have an app and a web app, last Wednesday I had to use their web interface because the iPhone app is somewhat unreliable. I managed to complete 5 jobs, and did a 6th that I had a problem submitting because they had closed the jobs. I emailed them the photos and the explanation of what I had found in store and they paid for me the 6th.

Normally these apps/web sites save the photos you take to your camera roll - this is invaluable for you when you have a problem submitting a job. Street bees have also admitted that they got it wrong this time, they didn't expect the number of people to take part that did and didn't expect to have so many submissions so quickly. They have apologised for this, calling people to apologise. I've never known a mystery shopping business do this, and I actually think Street Bees are something special.

They have said they will be more transparent next time, publishing the quota and showing how close they are to fulfilling it. This will go a long way towards fixing the problems they had last week.

Just my 2p worth.

I noticed on the app that they seemed to testing some quota software over the weekend.

As of this evening there are new StreetBees tasks available.

There aren't really any close to me, but they're juice checks in supermarkets and £5 a pop.

I set off to complete a task for them today only to find that app kept crashing when I took a photo. I didn't have much time so I tried a reset, then restarted the task but didn't work. I do have a similar problem with Ipoll too. However others like Roamler, Streetspotr are fine. A bit gutted but ah well. It was my first task with them and if I knew, I'd take the spare phone with me and tether basically.

Are you using an iphone? They called me when I was having trouble with the app crashing to say there was a fault with it and I could input results via the website.

I was going to say - why not just use the mobile website to do the task instead of using the app?

I tried doing one of the juice tasks but it's moved from the Done list back to Reserved and I haven't had a reply to my message yet.
I'm getting really tired of wasting my time for these guys.

It flicks from being successful to saying I can't participate as have enough people and to try another task but the task is still sat there available! Frustrating
