Well, I'm spending the day going through all my sites and finding out how much I've got and deciding which ones to take off my list, to stop using.

At the moment I've decided to get rid of:

GlobalTestMarket- I'm unsure about this one, I have 110 pts and only need 182 for PayPal credit, so might see how long it takes me to make that amount from now.

I'm sticking with:

Toluna- I only have 1075 pts and need 185000 but I'll see how quick I can make it. Bit slow to get them but doesn't take long to do the surveys.

Interesting to see how different sites work for different people (or not!). I have personally binned Toluna but GTM is one of my favourites. Good luck with achieving your goal, however you get there :)

True.
I binned Toluna ages ago. Prefer doing their surveys through other sites.
GTM is good one of my real favourites.

I decided to give GTM another go, but every single survey I click on, before I even get a chance to do anything at all- it says I’ve been screened out. I’m never going to build up my points if it doesn’t even let me do anything.

I’m really getting into OnePoll, the only thing I dislike about it is that there isn’t very many surveys. I want more! Slowly building up my points though. Maybe have a payout by the end of the month if I’m lucky.

For some reason when I tried to log into my ipsos isay account it said that my account is inactive. So I’ve messaged them to find out what’s going on.

Toluna is annoying me at the moment, the second I get an email saying that there is a new survey available, I click it and it tells me that it’s filled up. Grr

PopulusLive seems to be a good one for me at the moment, but I just rarely get any survey invites. I managed to bump my points right up since I got back to work as before I didn’t have a computer to do them on (I spilt wine on my laptop) so I was doing the ones I could on my mobile, but hardly any are compatible with mobiles. Hopefully will have a payout by the end of the month (fingers crossed).

I’m still a little bit unsure about NewVistaLive at the moment. I don’t get many survey invites, so my points are going up very, very slowly. But let’s see where I am by next week with it, never know, could suddenly shoot up.

YouGov is another quite slow one, I don’t receive a lot of invites and get screened out of quite a lot, but I get quite a lot of points per survey so that’s ok.

I only really started using SwagBucks last week, I use the video apps on my phone and I’ve found loads of 10 seconds videos that I have going as a loop on my phone while I’m getting on with other things round the house. I do the daily tasks each day as well, which doesn’t earn a lot but it all eventually adds up. I play the games occasionally too but it’s a bit annoying because the amount of points you get in the game doesn’t relate to the amount of SBs you get. I can do really rubbish and earn 2SB, then do amazingly and get 0.

ProlificAcademic seems a bit tempermental at the moment too. I keep spending ages doing surveys and then I get a reply from the person running it telling me that I went over the maximum time (I don’t!!), or that my responses weren’t good enough, or they just take forever to respond to it.

PanelBase isn't too bad. I get screened out of quite a few, but not as many as I get accepted to, so that's good. Aiming for a payout by the end of the month (fingers crossed).

Make sure you clean cookies including tracking cookies and browsing history etc when you go to start a survey. You should get to start GlobalTestMarket surveys if you aren't get a chance to even start then it could be to do with your cookies/tracking cookies getting you screened out. Do a thorough clean out using CC cleaner or something similar and shut down your browser and then open it up again and see if that helps.
Sounds like you are making good progress anyway. :)

After 8 months of arguing with my old gas and electric company, they've finally admitted that I DON'T owe them £140, but actually that THEY OWE ME £70!! Woo Hoo! Been on the phone to them today, now just got to wait for my cheque to arrive and that will go straight into my ISA. :) Yippee

That is great that they owe you money.
Nice extra bit of cash you didn't expect. :)

Well, my PayPal has gone majorly down (£4.41) as I paid for my new website (still being set up, will take a bit of time me thinks) with my paypal credit.
I finally got to the payout threshold on Prolific, and just as I clicked to payout, I suddenly got a few more surveys come up. So I’ve got £5.79 on the way to my PP, already up to £4 again, and just completed a £3 survey which I’m waiting to be reviewed!
Few OnePoll surveys bring me up to £12.85.
NVL- 675
YouGov- 550
Populus- 36
Toluna- 1525. I seem to still be getting the message that the surveys are full, only seconds after the email comes through!
SB- 525, I’m not doing as much on here anymore, as I can’t have my phone playing videos all day at work. So need to get back into having it do it while cooking tea or something at home on an evening.
Put £1 into my ISA so up to £157.97 on there.

Added £5 to my ISA, bringing that up to £162.97.
I have £10.03 in my Paypal
And £53.75 in my MoneyBox
Total= £226.75 (11%)

I only need £11 before I can cash out on Populus and I don’t seem to be getting any surveys, grrr.
Panelbase- 7.65/10
Swgabucks- 455/999
OnePoll- 13.70/40
YouGov- 750/5000

Hi Terri,

Looks like you're progressing at a nice steady pace, hope you reach your target in time.

I have a friend from when I was at university who lives in Shanghai, would love to go and visit him there.

He invited me over to stay with him when the Olympics were on in China, but being a student and not having much money at the time I had to turn him down. Still regret it to this day. :'(

How often do people find they get surveys from Panelbase is it a few a day consistently?

I seem to get maybe 2 every few days. Probably about 3/4 a week. So not very many really. But I only qualify for maybe 2 of those.

Hi!!

Not a lot of money to add but oh well.

I’m up to £11.60 on Prolific again, not going to cash out until I get to 20 though because otherwise PP takes some as a fee.
£14.80 on OnePoll, it’s getting slower with surveys though and I’m finding I’m getting screened out of a lot more. I was hoping I might be able to cashout this month but no chance, maybe next month if they send me a lot more surveys, but probably August at the earliest.
Up to £2.05 on OnePulse, should hopefully be able to get up to 5 next month for a small payout.
I have £6.33 on iPoll with £4.11 pending. It’s sooo slow to check and validate the tasks, and I can’t seem to work out what the minimum payout is… (anyone know?).
I’m getting more into VoxPopMe, but I still hate being filmed for it, £1.25 on there and payout is £10. But they are quite quick to check the tasks.
YooBic- I have managed to cashout £5.11 from here so that’s quite good, was quick to check the task too.

I’m due to be paid around £2 from Spare5 today, no new tasks on there yet though- haven’t had anything for a couple days so that’s not good, hopefully some more will appear soon!

I completed my first FieldAgent task today, so hopefulllyyyyy that will get accepted and I’ll get £5 from that *fingers crossed*.

I’ve now got Qmee on my work computer, as I spend so much time there and google a lot so hopefully I’ll be able to cash out a couple of pence a month.

In my accounts at the moment I have:
PayPal- £15.89
ISA- £172.97
MoneyBox- £61.24
= £250.10
= 12.5%

Just found out yesterday that my 15 months 0% credit card has 2 months less on it than I thought so that’s poop!

As well as trying to save up for a holiday next year, I’m wanting to buy a new bed- mine is horrible and the mattress is dead, digs in all the wrong places and springs are popping through… I now have to work out my monthly payments again to make sure my card is clear on time. (My own fault I know, I should have worked out when it ran out and stopped spending on it.)

I’ve just looked back through my old posts and seen that on the 11th May I posted that I only had £66.31/2000.

That means I’ve saved nearly £200 in nearly (maybe just over) a month!! A lot is probably money that I’ve paid myself rather than earnt online but still! That’s pretty good, I think ?

I think you're doing well! Whether you earn it as an extra or put it in from normal money you're still doing it - so well done.

If you're not going to make the payments in time for the 0% to end it may be worth comparing the interest you'll pay with the fee to transfer to a new deal (usually 3% of the amount you transfer).

Requested a £10 payout from FA yesterday so hopefully should get that soon.
Got £2.18 from Spare5 so yay!

Little payments but it all adds up.

Been going through my budget spreadsheet this weekend and apparently I have a couple of hundred extra a month (if my calculations are right- my bf double and triple checked), so hopefully should be able to put away a good chunk every month in my savings... Shanghai is looking more likely every day :)
