@Shepper are tasks allocated only (no user selection) also are they allocated according to registered home address or by geolocation (for example.. i am all over the country.. could i be offered a task somewhere near my position? What kinds of mystery shop tasks are there? Supermarket audits.. location tasks?
Hi! Thanks for signing up with Shepper! To answer some of the questions I've seen on here so far:
- Jobs are sent out based on your geolocation. The nearest Shepherd to the job will receive a notification with the job details including address, job type and the flat fee. The Shepherd will have a few minutes to respond to this. If they decline or if the notification times out, the job will be sent to the next-closest Shepherd and so on up to a maximum radius.
- We do have a wide variety of jobs. At present we're conducting some promotional compliance tasks for a cosmetics brand in stores all over the country, interior property inspections and inventories for several Airbnb management companies (predominately in London for now), condition reports for a car park firm with locations all over the country and simple photography tasks, which involve taking photos for our clients to use in promotional materials.
- The Shepper Jobs app is currently mainly used in and around London as this is where we have our highest concentration of Shepherds. In smaller and more remote locations, we will often send tasks via email as this is simply more efficient. As the Shepherd density increases so will the use of the Shepper Jobs app.
