There is a good article on the BBC News site today about how Universities are going to work moving forward
In summary, it seems they don't really know. Obviously freshers week is going to be very different but I don't get how they can have students mixing within their house in the 2nd, 3rd year who are all on different courses and then proposing they stay in a sort of bubble for lessons as people are just going to mix all over the place outside of education.
It could be a VERY bad year for private landlords as well who rent out their ridiculous 8-11 bedroom houses to students!
I think virtual lectures + face-to-face study groups are fine and probably the way to go for the first 6 months or so - can't be like that forever though!
Coronavirus: Students might have to stay in 'protective bubble'
When university campuses open students might have to live and study in small groups to limit mixing.
