Im voting for green yes they will never win however I agree with most of their policy's not all of them but most. The min wage increase to £10, railway nationalisation and also legalizing cannabis (Might sound crazy to some however it has many medical benefits, never killed anyone and the tax and job created from it would be massive just look at Colorado) all appeal to me. I would hate another 5 years or tory government. I have seen many people suffer due to their benefits cuts to the poor and disabled. UKIP would just blame immigrants for everything.

Never killed anyone?! Are you serious?! Just do a quick google search and you'll see LOTS of results for drivers under the influence who killed people.

Last year we were driven off the road, and had one of our lovely cars wrote off, by someone who was a drug abuser and drove like a prick because of it. Having the nerve between your vertebrae compressed involves a lot of intensive physiotherapy and would you believe that nerve actually controls your arm AND part of your hand? I didn't until I couldn't use it... For months!

Best of all, after the goon done that, and drove us off the road, he then came over (naturally he was fine as is sods law) and proceeded to start being abusive to my Mum, crying in the back of the car, telling her there was nothing wrong with her and to stop 'being a bitch'.

If you have cancer, or some debilitating injury, and want to smoke cannabis I think you should be allowed to. But controlled amounts and in your own home. If cannabis was legal the man who drove us off the road (intentionally I hasten to add - he literally smashed us off the road because we weren't driving above the speed limit - he was done for careless driving under the influence etc) may have taken stronger drugs to feel like the big I am.

Politics does bring out strong opinions doesn't it! I'm glad for this thread, half of my friends are in the 'I don't care so I won't vote' camp. URGH.

Plus the stuff stinks to high heaven, I'd rather be in a room full of smokers.

Maybe i should have added it has not killed anyone from overdosing. Driving under the influence is another topic. Driving under influence is big no no and anyone doing so should be disqualified. Im glad you agree it should be allowed for medical use and in your own home. As it is great painkiller without the side effect of the tablets. Regarding your accident im sorry to hear about it.

That sounds horrific Katy :(

I have serious doubts about legalisation because of the effects on mental health, psychosis which can be brought on by cannabis use sounds pretty scary both for the sufferer and for the people around them

I read a report talking about cannabis effect on mental health and it mentioned it only effect small amount user who have the mental health problem in the family are likely to suffer these. I cant find the link where i read it sorry.

But the big parties (labour and conservative) have ruled out any decriminalisation of any illegal drug. So thing will most likely stays as they are even for people who might require it for medical use. Lib dem said they want to stop people being arrested for possession however like the tuition fee story nothing has happened. Only green and ukip i think would change laws regarding it.

Similar things could be said about alcohol and cigarettes however they are freely available to use. They do much more damage to society and health. Even if it not legalised for everyone to use i do strongly believe it should be there for doctor to prescribe like in certain states in america at least then peope who need can get it in a controller manner.

This will be the first time that I have voted for a non-mainstream party. It won't make any difference to the result since my constituency is one of those "a chimp with a labour rosette would win" kind of seats,. However, I refuse to get drawn into this tactical voting nonsense. People should vote according to their beliefs and let democracy take its course.

However, if we end up with a CON-UKIP-LIB coalition, I will be packing up and leaving the UK as it will signal to me that the UK doesn't really give a **** about the fact that the Tories' "as yet un-particularised" £12 billion worth of future welfare cuts are likely to destroy even more vulnerable people than the previous round of savage cuts already has. Who really wants to live in a country where the Government can get away with cynically abusing the most vulnerable members of society whilst giving huge tax breaks to their rich oil baron mates? Not me.

No-one else wanted him. They all closed their borders.
I wonder if he has non-Dom status due to buying a burial plot in "Blobbyland" or whatever it's called?

Katie Hopkins has said she will quit the UK if Labour get it.

We can but hope.
She would continue to tweet hatred from another country so her residence is irrelevant to her continued (and carefully calculated) plan to get rich by being nasty.

It will be tax credits they start hacking away at next, it has to be, what else is left? They don't want to say what it is before they win the election as they know if they did they would lose the election. With the ridiculous wages situation we have in this country at the moment there are a lot of people who rely on tax credits and if they are taken away will not be able to pay their bills/eat/keep a roof over their heads

I've been thinking about this whole why should people on benefits have nice things when I work and don't have nice things debate which has been raging in this country for years fuelled by the media. You have to consider

They might have bought the nice car, nice clothes etc while working and earning good money. Just because they're on benefits now doesnt mean they've always been on benefits. Any one of us who works could lose our jobs anytime and find ourselves on benefits

They might have a rich girlfriend or boyfriend who buys them things

They might have generous parents who are helping them out

They might be up to their eyeballs in debt

They might be involved in dodgy dealings

There could be any number of reasons every individuals circumstances are different and no one has a right to judge. Its crazy

Maybe..like I said tons of possible reasons...its pretty crazy when people who are working are actually jealous of people who aren't and are on benefits. If they were being properly rewarded for the work they did then they really wouldn't be

Facebook can be blamed for some of it. People compare their own lives to others on there, when in reality all they are getting is a 'best-of' their life, not all the crap that they face. I'm sure we all know people on Facebook who constantly go on about how happy they are and how their life is ace, when we actually know they spend most evenings crying on the stairs into numerous glasses of gin and tonic whilst stuffing themselves with chocolate.

I COMPLETELY agree with this

Trying working or a text based entertainment service where you have to spend all day looking at other peoples social media pages and it soon bums you out lol
