Re: Kiarna's Hustle!

Update: Well fiverr jobs are flowing in and only been on over a week now. I've made 32 dollars so far. Found a few other websites that are similiar to fiverr but can charge more than 5 dollars, so joining them tomorrow. Loving this freelance lark! Something different everyday.

Re: Kiarna's Hustle!

So I've added another string to my bow and have started created logo design samples. There not out of this world at all , quite simple but worth a shot on fiverr. Here is my gig page... http://www.fiverr.com/toffee2014/design-your-logo

Nothing fabulous but I'm keen to learn and practice lots more.

Other news,

A journalist approached me via email yesterday, asking if I would like to be interviewed regarding my weight loss story. Not long had a phone call chat with her and it went great. Basically, she will sell the story to news & magazine publications and secure a fee. I have rights to where I want my story feature etc, so all good really. I've seen some of her stories etc and she writes good. I just have to send over my before photos lol

Re: Kiarna's Hustle!

Haven't a clue. She just said that I would be paid a fee for my time. She won't know how much exactly as she needs to sell them the story first. I think it will be good exposure for my blog , so that means more than how much i'll get paid.

Re: Kiarna's Hustle!

My free Nike trainers arrived the other day. Love them! Posted my review yesterday.

Did a fun product description gig on fiverr today. This guy sells teacher t-shirts with funny logos on the front and he wanted me to write two fun descriptions for it.

I'm interviewing moms who are currently doing popular diets such as the Cambridge diet, Paleo etc.

I'm on 56 dollars with fiverr. Not a lot but to say I've not bothered to promote my gigs , that's not too bad. Been about 2 weeks now since I joined. From looking at the forum, time is a big factor in your success on there. So just going to be patient and hopefully the work will roll in more. I get one gig per day at the moment but want to increase it to 3-4 by next month.

Re: Kiarna's Hustle!

Update: Fiverr is going really well at the moment. I've put a couple more gigs up and now getting 2-3 gigs a day at the moment. I'm now a level 1 as well. I've made about 130 dollars so far ( Been on a month now ) so all is good.

I'm blogging as per usual but finding the monetizing bit the hardest. Willing to learn more though, so not giving up on trying to make money just yet.

I had to write about anal lube and menopause today hahaha

Re: Kiarna's Hustle!

Also, I plan to make a video for Fiverr and one for PPH so I can start working for them too.

I need to establish some money earning goals with Fiverr. Now that i've finally found the Buyer Request section, I can now send proposals and get more work. Lately, I've been slugging it with Fiverr, just completing the jobs as and when they come in but not taking notice of what I should be earning daily.

It's annoying how long it takes for funds to clear :( If it was instant, It would be so much better. The money kind of dribbles in at the moment but hope that with the buyer request option, I will see my earnings flow in more. I've made $208 this month but I've also turned away work too, so not like I'm not getting work in. Just can't fulfill some of them.

If I can complete 2 jobs a day ( not actually get two jobs in but deliver the job to the client, as that's when you earn the money), I would earn around 168 quid but that's not including my extras. That isn't a lot and will probably earn more than that but it gives me something to work with.

Organization and consistency are my weaknesses, so plan to work on them.

Hopefully, when I get a voice recording device, I'll be offering more audio services on Fiverr too. So much earning potential on Fiverr. At first, I was working for longer than 20 mins on each gig but now I've tweaked my gigs and don't spend that long on a gig anymore.

Fiverr is getting really busy for me. I'm delivering around 3-4 jobs a day. I'm a $268 this month and really want to get to $300 by Saturday but I doubt I will :(

I was looking on the Fiverr forum the other day and I saw a really old thread on how many jobs people are getting. I clicked on all of their profiles and every one of the are top rated sellers. Just goes to show, that if you stay on there long enough and deliver quality service, you WILL earn more in future. I'm just wanting part-time income from this really but I also want to dip my fingers in a few other pies too for security.

I've tried other freelance sites and not getting much luck. Though, I haven't completed my profile on PPH yet. Need to record a video apparently.

It's been a while....

I had much success with Fiverr until it started to slow down just before Christmas and now get 1-2 gigs a week. Annoying obviously but have to accept that its gone that way. I have excellent feedback too and I'm a level 2 seller, so not sure what happened.

Anyway, I am really determined to get back on the bandwagon and start making an income. I don't want to totally depend on benefits anymore, really gets me down!! My daughter is at nursery but only 3 days a week and its only for a couple of hours, even the jobcentre woman said there isn't anyway of getting a 16 hour job in. I'm a single parent so need the 16 hours and nothing less. I'm currently doing a personal training diploma, so at some point towards the end of the year, I'll finally be working but till then, I want to get a steady second income ready for when I become a trainer.

I've signed up for leapforce but not heard anything. I applied using another email because I applied beofre but didn't get round to completing the exam. Trying to find new ways of earning money online to be honest and I'm extremely determined. I'm not looking to just earn a bit of extra cash, so apps and that aren't really for me. I'm going to try and do a bit of brain storming later, see what I come up with.

Watch this space anyway.
