Re: The Introduce yourself thread!

Hello Katy, welcome to this lovely site. I am a Phoenix Trader, my partner Andrew has recently joined Neal's Yard, have you heard of them? They are based in Devon, producing fab natural and organic skincare products, people who have the same career as you have joined Neal's Yard, I guess with their experience in beauty therapy they can use with Neal's Yard, giving facials with their products. Andrew gave me a facial, lovely.
I am originally from Somerset. Mum lives close to the floods, thankfully she is OK, are you affected by the floods?

Re: The Introduce yourself thread!

Sorry hadn't spotted this thread.
Found this site via the £2014 in 2014 challenge Facebook.

Have a good amount of spare time so have made a big effort and actually did ok with a lot of the PTC, survey, Roamler type sites/apps.

Been using the green site for maybe 6 months and have found some great tips and ideas, especially like a few of the savings challenges.

I'll update with my thoughts on some of the various sites later after work :)

Hi, I'm Bex! I'm 24 and started properly working from home a couple of months ago although I have been blogging and completing online surveys for a good couple of years now. I have a 2 year old son called Jack and I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hi, I'm Elaine, I'm 49 and live in Derbyshire. I've been doing surveys and things for a long time now, but this year I've upped my effort, starting with joining Swagbucks. I'm trying to be more systematic and am slowly becoming a member of more websites and companies. I've been motivated by the fact that we are struggling financially and I'm unable to go out to work owing to my fluctuating poor health and my caring duties for one of my daughters. I also like this way of doing things. Except on weekends when getting points seems to become a hard slog.

Hi and welcome!

Feel free to link to your blog in your sig on here.

Have you looked at any other methods of earning online beside swagbucks etc that maybe can earn you money a bit more quickly?

Thanks. Are they mystery shopping? I'm mostly housebound so can't get out to do things like that most of the time. I'm a bit scared of tasks and things like that as I'm sometimes affected cognitively and have had my confidence knocked a bit. I'll have a look at relevant threads. I've been doing some long over due maintenance on my PC and it's very slow while virus and other checks are running.

Thanks, I've had a look now. I can't do some as I don't have a smartphone. I'm not sure I'm up to the others as I can't do anything that requires me to be available during specific times owing to my caring role and other things. I can never be sure when I'll be free and even when I am free I could be called on for something or other. I'm too nervous for things like 63336 really. I need to build my confidence. Although I am desperate for money, but have so many limitations. It's frustating. Great forum you have here btw. Just what I need. :)

Ok

So basically want you want is something that can be done ad hoc but doesn't involve going out and about or anything too stressful.

Have you looked at the shop and scan thread?

That is basically getting paid to beep your shopping once a week with a barcode beeper and sometimes send a few texts about what you are eating

I love the blog idea. Have you looked into "get paid to blog" sites or affiliate marketing? As a mother there must be loads of products & services that you would be able to write about and promote.

Have started too look into recently just working on upping my contact and doing a few reviews on things I already have and use just to show that I am open to the possibility
