I would say the cost of games is kinda offset by how much they cost to make these days

in the £1.99 for a spectrum game days the thing was literally made by someone in a bedroom

How they cost millions of pounds to make so they have to pass that cost onto the consumer

Ps.

Except for the pioneering days (spectrum/Atari/BBC/Amstrad) game prices have always been a bit on the heavy side. Everyone remembers the mega hit the SNES was. Most people have forgotten the RRP of Super street fighter 2 was £69.99 and adjusted to today's prices that would have been £110+!!!!

And no online servers to maintain!
I have exciting news for you. The atari is coming back next year! Hopefully in a comeback better than the Atari jaguars attempt...

If you have a PS4 then get the game "That's You". Its also a free dl if you are a PSN+ subscriber. Its a great party game for upto 8 people and the best thing is, you just need a phone/tablet to play it - you don't need 8 controllers.

anddddddddddd it's back up to £69

At least we got one! I have updated my blog post to be more SEO friendly. I'll add a note later to say it is now back to normal price.

I'm thinking mine might be a xmas present to my brother. Or I might just keep it for me.

Well i'm still pretty hooked on Destiny 2

I thought it would be a grindfest like the first one but this iteration seems SO set up for casual players I really think it is worth a look if you enjoy shooters with a bit of magic to them!

Does anyone else stream via Twitch? Looking to build up my following/follower list as I delve into the world of streaming.

So far it's been a LOT of Tabletop Simulator which is such a fun game, well mixture of games.

Pop you Twitch link in and I'll drop you a follow ;)

Personally i don't. But i can tell you now that you will likely gain a lot more followers by simply not being male!

You can seriously make a good living from it https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/jan/03/women-make-living-gaming-twitch

I've told i would get a lot of viewers if i live streamed myself playing Fifa or Call of Duty - mainly due to the sheer rage i have been known to experience. Not a good look.

Well, having boobs hasn't helped me yet...with my whopping 8 followers ;) haha My biggest struggle is deciding what to play as I'm not a FPS player so no COD or the like. New South Park is out on Tuesday and I'm tempted to grab it so I'm streaming a new game.

When I watch people stream it's because I want to see something happen so

Call of duty streamers trying to prestige or complete zombie maps

Fifa players opening all this cards

Destiny players trying to finish a raid

If people are just streaming games with no actual goal they are trying to achieve I don't see why I would want to watch them

In summary.... try and do speedruns
